A cockroach crawled out of a menu that they had just brought and handed to me. I am terrified to know the state of the kitchen. It's a shame because I really liked their food. Never going back.

The chicken hibachi has a type of sauce on it. It is probably supposed to be teriyaki. The food would be better without it. The salad was some lettuce with one cucumber. I ate about half of it and felt sick. I was expecting it to be like most hibachi restaurants where the meat and vegetables are cooked on a grill with some soy sauce. This food does not seem to be prepared like that.

Don't go anywhere else!!! Service was absolutely outstanding. We had been struggling with doordash for half an hour and gave up... called the restaurant 20 minutes before closing time and apologized profusely for the late order. The time of the order did not matter to them. Their service, food, and presentation, all of it was still perfect!! There's nothing worse than craving a special dinner and getting it, only to be disappointed. THIS DID NOT DISAPPOINT. We ordered the filet mignon bento box. The steak was cooked medium/medium plus, so juicy, and the most tender hibachi steak I've ever had. The flavor was outstanding. I have no other words. And the amount of food??? My husband is a large body builder framed man... and he couldn't even finish half of it. It's all the bang for your buck, and more. Don't waste your time going anywhere else!! Absolutely phenomenal.

The floors were so dirty we literally stuck to them. I looked for the Health Department rating, it was no where to be seen. We won’t be back.

Leaving this review after hearing that they refused service to a couple because they bought chicken nuggets from mcdonalds for there autistic child before going in to yamoto only to be refused service even after explaining that the child is autistic and would not eat anything else. It's not like the parents weren't going to purchase food they where just satisfying the little one so that they could enjoy the yamoto food. Every last staff member present that day should be ashamed of themselves. Disappointing to see a business do people like this in Berea

I had the imperial bento dinner. Took half home. Chicken, steak, shrimp vegetables in a delicious brown sauce. Batter fried chicken an veggies, rice. Miso soup and salad included to start. Service Very Friendly and accurate. Loved Yamato.
