We had to wait one hour to be seated, then another hour to get our food. The two pizzas we ordered were terrible, one was over cooked and the bacon on the other was nothing but gristle. I ordered water to drink and it tasted like it came straight out of the Ohio River.

Pizza was not cooked all the way, cheese not even melted. Pizza dough was dense and not right. Dough was dried out and flavorless. I love pizza and this is the worst restaurant pizza I have ever eaten. I’m glad I didn’t drive far.

I had wanted to eat here for a lot of years. Finally had the opportunity. The place was pretty full when we arrived. We had a couple of the extra large pizzas. Huge slices as I could only eat 2. After having our pizza we walked around the old jail house. It is very neat to see the old cells. There was not much luxury in these rooms. You can dine in the cells if you like also ( tables and chairs in the cells). I bet this whole jail has many stories it could tell. As we were leaving there was a Ghost hunters van in the parking lot.

Service was terrible. First we wasn’t asked to be seated, and after being patient we asked the waitress and she replied with an annoyed attitude like we’re standing around like ducks and we just want to be addressed say it’ll be a minute instead of just walking past us 4 times. Second the environment felt discombobulated it wasn’t that packed for a graduation and looked like the staff was all over the place all they serve is pasta, salad and pizza I couldn’t imagine if they added vegetable soup or some real food. Drove 40 mins and left hungry don’t waste your time…..

We drove from Louisville today because we had heard good things about Jailhouse. We had a deluxe pizza that was OK, but a bit bland and extremely light on the toppings. We had a fried pickle appetizer that was straight from a frozen food bag. It took a while for a waitress to even acknowledge us after being seated, and our drinks were never refilled. The food did come quickly enough, but it was a wait for the check to come in a dining room that was only half full. I paid cash and left my wife at the table for the change. When I got back, we both realized that waitress (a middle-aged lady with very short hair) had given us $5 too little in change. At that point she was nowhere to be seen, so we assumed that she must have decided to calculate here own tip. We just left rather than making an issue. Jailhouse is acceptable if nothing else is available, but I would never recommend going out of your way to eat there. There are even chain restaurants that better.

Party of 4 ordered stromboli, two salads and spaghetti and meatballs. Also got a small deluxe pizza. No complaints on the salads and Stromboli. The spaghetti and meatballs were a little bland. The pizza had a nice crust and pretty good flavor. We sat outside with a view of the Ohio River. Tables outside were pretty small but we managed. They offer beer but we didn't have any. We did not really tour the building either.

Jailhouse Pizza in Brandenburg used to be the go-to place for great food in the Brandenburg KY area. It was so good, it was actually a "destination" for many people for good food and great service. The wings were smothered in sauces and full of flavor. The Garlic Parmesan wings were bathed in garlic butter and given a generous grating of cheese over the top - simply fantastic. At our last visit, our wings barely had any sauce on them and if they weren't on top of the basket some had no sauce at all. Though service was quick, out server couldn't have cared less about customer service and the jewelry hanging out of her nose was disgusting. She gave the impression she was just showing up for a paycheck. We used to love this place and brought everyone we knew here because it was so great. I know COVID was hard on us all, but I believe that Jailhouse has cut too many corners to maintain our loyalty and approval. Sadly, another great restaurant falls by the wayside because a couple of ounces of sauce and a lack of server training. I will miss the great restaurant that this place once was. It wasn't all bad - the pizza was really good.
This is a quality restaurant that has a great atmosphere.The pizza is high quality.My only complaint is the long wait time.

We were in area for a festival. It was 4 adults and 4 kids. We were sat right away but didn't see a server for 20 minutes. Took almost an hour for food and it came at different times so some were done while others waiting. We were done before sever came back so me refills on drinks.Food not that great an service a joke but the upstairs is neat to see. Won't be back but was an experience for the kids. We were that on a Saturday around 1:00 so maybe go at a different time. I only saw 3 servers for the whole place.

I tried to order curbside pickup, but instead of telling me they don't provide that service, I was put on hold for at least four minutes until I hung up. I called back and ordered a pizza and asked if they would deliver it to the parking lot. They said I'd have to go inside and pay and pick it up. I asked if they would let me know when it was ready. I was told, "no" I'd have to go in to check and it would take 25 minutes. While waiting in the parking lot for 25 minutes we watched many people going in and out of the restaurant and only one person was wearing a mask. After 25 minutes I put on my mask and went inside to pick up the order. The counter to pickup and pay is in a small room with people waiting to be seated while others are walking through. After waiting for about five minutes an employee came out from the restaurant and waited on two people who had follower her out of the restaurant, while completely ignoring me. I left and went back outside, worried about the Covid-19 virus. I called and told the employee that I had been inside to pick up my order, but no one waited on me and if they wanted to sell me the pizza they'd have to bring it outside the building. I was put on hold again and after two minutes I drove off. We will not go back until the Covid problem is over.

Heard it was really good so my family and I went. Took the server almost 30 to remember we needed food then waited another 20 for the food. Had 5 other people seat after us and get there food and leave before we got anything. Outlaw bread wasn’t all too good and the pizza sauce was terrible
