As a local from Wolfe county let me tell you we don’t have many places to eat and this place sure isn’t one of them I’ve never wasted 50 bucks so fast in my life burger was under cooked and the chicken was over cooked I think I woulda been better off jus staying home an making a bologna sandwich I would compare it to hospital food thanks for wasting my time and my money you guys suck please get it together I know you can do better!!!

Unfortunately, we were disappointed in this restaurant/bar. They were severely understaffed with only 2 servers (with no runners) during a well publicized Kentucky Derby watch party. Who knew a watch party was just that, with no sound even during the few minutes of the main event. Our food took close to an hour and was not as ordered and disappointing overall. The highlight was the band, who brought on stage an up and coming artist Isaac Sexton. Keep an eye out for this young man!

Check you meat it’s either raw or like a brick! Plus they added a 10.20 Tip that wasn’t made known until after my card was approved! Beware!!!!!

We got two filets, and when they first came out they were a bit undercooked. We expressed to our waitress that they were underdone, and she immediately took them back and after a few minutes, they were the PERFECT cook. Very tender, very juicy, steaks. The sides were awesome, and atmosphere was great. I really appreciate that they took the filets back and refired them for the perfect cook.

Service and workers were great! Kitchen was backed up but the hostess and server both informed us of this ahead of time so it wasn’t a shock. Atmosphere was great. The hamburger meal ordered was great. The catfish was good. However the mozzarella sticks were actually cold inside. If you are looking for atmosphere with good service this is your place. If you are looking for good food and good service there is another option in Campton.

Parking: During busy times you will need to park at surrounding businesses as their lot is small and tight.

Great service and setting, and we received a recommendation to visit Nada Tunnel with our free time, and it was a highlight of the trip. Thank you so much!

Little loud and it’s more of a bar than dining. Food was good.

My husband and I are visiting from out of town and I had looked at different restaurants in the area. I read reviews on this place and thought it would be good. The server was nice, food was not. We spent $70 on an appetizer a burger and steak. Would not again. Steak was probably one of the worst I’ve had and my husbands burger was mediocre. Fried pickles were good. Overall upset I just spent $70 on this meal and I have never had to use A1 sauce until tonight.

The atmosphere and service for us was really great. Everyone was super friendly and I really loved the pin on the map idea for us out of towners. I do think the food was really over priced for what it was. But, it was the cutest place right there that you could find in that part of town.

The steak and pork chops were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. Add in the mashed potatoes and you couldn’t ask for much more in a meal. The bartender was very helpful and friendly. Two people 2 drinks, 2 appetizers and 2 meals was $70 total. Great price and food we left full and happy. HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you’re in the area.

I was fully planning to leave a 4-5 star review. We looked this restaurant up for NYE. We saw they had a band and wanted to check out. We arrived and they sat us at a four top vs two which was fine with us. The food was good. I liked the pickles and wings. We ordered 3 apps and two mains for dinner. We had 6 cocktails so our bill was $150+ which we don’t mind and planned to continue to drink and listen to music. Our plan was just to stay until 9.There were two tables of two around us who had ordered a quarter of what we had nor were they drinking and had been sitting before we got there. Around 8:30 our server came up and said “would you mind moving to the bar?” I was a little taken back bc there was no explanation but we agreed. (Keep in mind we just ordered two cocktails and we’re still drinking). I looked at bar and there were no bar seats. So I said “so is there a place for us to sit and enjoy?” She said “well there was, but we really need this table and sorry but we gotta kick you out.”
Now, let’s be clear. I am not upset she asked us to relocate— I am upset bc she didn’t offer any solutions and basically told us to get out. I said “well, I’m finishing my cocktail.” She said “ok, that should be fine.” Me 🙃— yes ma’am. Thanks for allowing me to drink the cocktail I already paid for.

We were really enjoying ourselves and this ruined our evening and experience . I did talk to the manager before I left. She said “well, sorry we needed the table— there is another room in the back wing beer pong and other tables” I said “I completely respect and get that but maybe next time you should be the one to deliver that message— we weren’t told there was other options, we weren’t provided any other choices, we were told that after we we’ve spent over $150 at their establishment, we had to go. Why didn’t you ask the tables around us who have been there longer than us?” She said “oh I just did.” She did apologize but I will not return and will never recommend this establishment. Disappointing because we really enjoyed it until we had awful costumer service.

The Roadhouse isnt a bad spot to stop and grab some apps and drinks. The onion rings and the French fries were delicious. Up there with some of the best we have had.

The burgers were just okay. The buns were soggy and the meat lacked seasoning. They were cooked very well though. All of us got burgers outside of one individual that got a steak. Not terrible, but there are several places around here that make better burgers for cheaper.

Price point I'd say half was reasonable then the rest seemed to be a little high for what it is.

Service was amazing and everyone was very friendly.
