I always try to visit when I'm in my home town. It is comfort food to me. Stromboli, theirs is what I compare all other to, is my go to order. Sadly I don't get to eat there that often, my schedule doesn't match their hours of operation. If you are in Campton visiting, I highly recommend the Dixie Freeze.
Would've given better review, but the deep fried mushrooms I got had been cooked way too long. They were extremely crunchy and dried up on the inside. The cheeseburger box was extremely good - especially the coleslaw.
I no longer live in Campton but every single time I go home to see my family & friends the Dixie Freeze is a MUST, several times over! I always get the Stromboli w some spicy fries & I’m never disappointed. The fried mushrooms, burgers & fish sandwich are bangin as well. I’m ready to call them & place an order! The Dixie a freeze is a staple to the city of a Campton.
