Great cocktails, had the Kentucky rattlesnake, and had the feta dip with bread appetizer. Was tasty 🤤 unique menu items here that's for sure.

It's a little chilly at this place since it's exclusively outdoors, there's a heater, try to sit there before anyone else lol.

It's ok. They advertise taco Tuesday but not doing it anymore.

I just love this place. The food is good and the drink selection is hard to beat. But the vibe is the best part. All the food is clearly made from scratch and well made. It is a spot I always hit when I am in the area.

I was surprised how bad the food was. I cannot think of a worse dinning experience. Everyone always said, don’t go to Hop’s. I get it now… at least they have good beer.

ATTENTION CLIMBERS: If Rockhouse or any of the other great restaurants in the Red look like they have a long line or wait, I would recommend waiting it out and not going to Hops.

This is the first restaurant I have ever eaten at where I felt that I must leave a review afterwards. This isn't a personal attack at the owners, but a warning for others.

Unfortunately, farm to table has nothing to do with the quality and palatability of the food provided. From the moment my friend and I bit into our cornbread muffin, we burst out laughing with how little flavor it had. The rest of the meal followed suit (grilled cheese, beans, and sausage burger).

The service was what I would expect from similar restaurants in the area (pay and seat yourself). However, I was disappointed there wasn't a self serve water station. When using the restroom, there were no paper towels. Overall the setting and dinning areas have potential, but need more attention to detail.

While my friend and I were having our meal, we thought that surely others around us must have been having a similar experience, especially with the food. After looking through the reviews, it seems like this isn't an isolated experience.

We both concluded that this was the worst meal we've ever paid for (maybe ever had, full stop) and that we won't be back.

At least they had a good selection of beer.

Great vibe, on tap beers and fresh margs. Just the place we were looking for to sit outside and chill after hiking.

One of our favorite spots we visited while in KY. We always try to visit places that are local to the community where we visit and this place checks the box. Rotating menu. The Tuesday we went was Italian. Everything was FRESH and tasted so good. The boys lemonades and our margaritas (w/ a heavy pour!) were amazing and fun to eat/drink on the outdoor patio. Highly recommend this place if you are in the area.

Great spot for great food and happy hour specials. They pride themselves on being super local with all of their offerings, all the way down to their duck eggs that are produced right there at Hop's!

The best part of this place was the drinks. We ate here Wednesday night for Hibachi, but I can tell you this was more like Cisco stir-fry, not authentic hibachi! The restaurant is advertised as farm-to-table, but I doubt anything was truly fresh or local. We ordered the beer cheese, and it came with pretzels that were straight out of a bag. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

That was the best chicken I’ve ever had. I’m not local to the area but every time I come through I’ll be making it a point to stop here for their jerk chicken again.

Also, super bummed I didn’t pick up any of their hot sauce before I left, it was very good.

Drinks were awesome, same with the atmosphere. I would recommend it if you are looking for a place to relax and have a few drinks. However, the food has absolutely no seasoning and which is unfortunately because the pictures online make the food look really good, we tried 4 different dishes, and all were under seasoned to the point that we didn't finish anything but our drinks.

Missing taco ingredients I paid for after waiting 30 minutes when dead. Other tickets got their tacos before me. Meal was a climber snack. No fans. Waited in line another 15 minutes for a beer later on. As a farm to table chef myself this doesn’t seem like the same quality food. It feels more like a take it or leave it place with slow rude service from everyone. Not KY hospitality. Beer selection great. Ice cream crunchy. Edit: the owner response concerns me and I’ll be too afraid to try food here again BUT does prove the take it or leave it service

Went to this restaurant not long before closing after climbing. The lady running the show was so kind and made us great drinks! We all really liked the food and were glad there was lots of options. Very cool ambiance.
