Food is awesome! Service is extraordinary! Berry was phenomenal!
On the way home from a ballgame across the state, my son needed to find a restroom and it was after dark. We took the exit, saw a truck stop and a marathon. Both looked sketchy and I didnât have my husband with me. We saw this wonderful looking, local restaurant with open sign and I told him I was going to buy some drinks for the road and he could use their restroom. The ladies inside were super friendly and the place was just darlin. I canât wait to go back and try their home style food one day! I promised them the next time we were out that way, we would come in for a meal. You can tell the service would be great and from the lovely smells-the food must be top notch! Thanks for being patient with us as we didnât realize you were about to close until we walked out and saw the open sign flip off. Canât wait to try some chicken and dumplings!!
Very clean and simply decorated, roomy and welcoming.
Family owned and great people.
Food was great, not processed and microwaved meals. I had the Rueben and it was amazing, hubs had Philly cheesesteak
Fairly priced and we want to go back again
Highly recommend this restaurant
**WARNING, no road sign to spot, just a sign on the building!**
Best place to eat in town. Only get to visit every now and then and man this is good home cooking.

Such a small peaceful restaurant. Coffee is great. I had the veggie omlete with potatoes and toast. Couldn't put my fork down it was so good. Ordered the French toast for my kid, he didn't eat a bite, but I did. Mmmm. Really good.
The atmosphere is calm and beautiful decorations. Super clean too. The staff was nice.
10/10 will be coming back.

We stopped in today for lunch as we were traveling home to Tennessee. As restaurant owners ourselves, we try to find small family owned places to support on our travels. I ordered the hot beef plate with mashed potatoes, slaw, and pinto beans. My husband had the salmon patties, mashed potatoes, pinto beans, and cornbread. We both really enjoyed our meals and cleaned our plates! The portions and price were both on point. I highly recommend that you give them a try in traveling on 69 near Caneyville. It's the only restaurant in the little town but it's worth taking the exit! We will definitely stop when traveling back through.
