The waitress was awful and never would come back to table. Found hair in my red beans and rice. The cooks had dirty hands,long string hair no hair nets. They open at 4 we get there at 4:30 and my husband wanted sweet tea and she told him they were out. Hey how bout making more.

We tried this place for the first time today and we were very pleased! It’s nice to have an alternative to Mexican or Pizza in Carrollton. Many seafood options at fair prices! The shrimp and fish were very good. It reminded us a lot of King Fish (before it went downhill). We sat on the outside patio and could see the river, it was very nice. The service was great! We will be back for sure! We were also informed that they were having karaoke at the bar area tonight that we were not able to stay for, but happy to see a place like that here.

Had fish basket. Fish was soggy and undercooked; fish breading was overly salty. The blacked chicken sandwich had chicken that was tough and overcooked. Owner was polite and friendly about this matter.

Despite having heard poor comments about Captain Hook's for a while, we decided to give them a chance, and VERY pleasantly surprised. I had the fried fish and shrimp while my better half had the fish. The portions were LARGE and both the fish and shrimp were hand breaded, the fries fresh cut, the hush puppies excellent, and the cocktail sauce fresh mad also. I don’t know if the tartar sauce was made in house, but was good, also. On the whole, a very tasty, plentiful, and economical meal. I hope this goes to dispelling their rep. We'll DEFINITELY be going back!!

Nice little locally owned restaurant. We dined in at the outdoor patio, about 5pm and there's an umbrella on one of the tables which we used. But it's a REALLY nice view of the Kentucky and Ohio Rivers. There was another outdoor dining area next to the building, too. It looked street accessible so in that case it could be wheelchair-friendly.
Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair friendly, in my opinion, with exception to the outdoor area that looked to be accessible from the street.

We had catfish dinner, chowder, and fish and shrimp dinner. Everything was very good. Catfish was prefect. Husband really liked the the fish and shrimp. Our server Haley was really nice great service. Quaint little place.
