Not many options in Carrollton during summertime a somewhat view of the river large outside patio with decor cornhole boards and use to be back in the day was this huge 15 person hot tub.
We tried this place for the first time today and we were very pleased! It’s nice to have an alternative to Mexican or Pizza in Carrollton. Many seafood options at fair prices! The shrimp and fish were very good. It reminded us a lot of King Fish (before it went downhill). We sat on the outside patio and could see the river, it was very nice. The service was great! Despite having heard poor comments about Captain Hook's for a while, we decided to give them a chance, and VERY pleasantly surprised. I had the fried fish and shrimp while my better half had the fish. The portions were LARGE and both the fish and shrimp were hand breaded, the fries fresh cut, the hush puppies excellent, and the cocktail sauce fresh mad also.
