We googled local coffee shops off 71 when we stopped for gas driving from Cincinnati to Louisville and found this gem! It was DEFINITELY worth the 5 minutes extra to support a great local business! Prices were half of what Starbucks would charge. The staff was so friendly and fast. We had a pumpkin Danish, sugar free almond milk coffee, and Carmel macchiato with oat y, and everything was great! Keep up the great work!

Made a stop at Hos Coffee in Carrollton and ordered what looked like an outrageous amount of food—2 white and 2 chocolate cake pops, brownie bites, egg bites, a chai iced latte, and a chocolate espresso muffin. The truth? I’ve got four kids at home and I knew I’d be forced to share, so I came prepared.
The egg bites were hands down the best part—absolutely delicious, packed with flavor, and cooked to perfection. The chai iced latte was smooth and refreshing, though next time I’ll ask for cream or cold foam to take it up a notch. The muffin surprised me in a good way—just the right amount of chocolate to make it rich without being overpowering (and I’m not usually a coffee flavor fan). The brownie bites were decent, but I prefer mine extra fudgy and chewy—these were a little more cakey.
Service was quick and they gave great recommendations.
It was a solid first visit and I’ll definitely be back (possibly with the tiny food thieves next time).

The baristas were cold as ice. No smiles. No welcoming, just stone cold expressions.
I think we were the only ones in there when we walked out after drinking our coffee. Not one person said a thing as we left.
It’s too bad when the atmosphere was decent and the coffee was good, that they can’t have a front line that can be warmer.

Hos Coffee offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere with good service and great drinks. I enjoyed both the hot caramel macchiato and the iced mocha — flavorful and well-prepared. The hot beverage wasn’t too hot on a warm afternoon, which made it pleasant to drink right away. On a colder morning, I’d probably ask for it a bit hotter. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the shop has a cozy, family-friendly vibe. It’s a great spot to meet up with friends or family. Definitely worth a visit!
