It's still in the convention center. I think that has a lot to do with food quality. Very bland. Bread was hard chicken was dry. Food is for older people who don't want any spices including salt and pepper. Atmosphere was weird kinda like a hotel breakfast bar. Could at least use a little music to stifull the quiet. Server's we're very attentive and friendly.

After suffering flood damage 3 years ago, is still in the process of being restored. Currently offers buffets in the conference center. Hopefully in 2026?
Not sure if I’ve ever been more disappointed at a restaurant. We had the lunch buffet, which consisted of only a few items. The only meat option was ribs, which had an unidentifiable, odd flavor. There were a few vegetable options and a salad bar. The dessert selection was small and also unidentifiable. What was worse than the food was the staff. It was slow when we arrived and there were 5-6 employees seated at a table talking and playing on their phones. A short while later another group of employees arrived, it looked like the women were possibly managers and the man a maintenance worker, they proceeded to make their plates off the buffet and sit down at another table. We might as well have been seated in the employee break room. They were all very unfriendly like we were invading their space and acted put out by our presence. The most unprofessional “restaurant” I’ve ever been to. We will not be returning
We had the opportunity to have a family Lunch gathering for 11 members here. The restaurant is temporarily moved to the conference center, as the the lodge and restaurant are being remodeled. First of all this was a great place for the family meal as it was half way for Ky and Ohio members. I was very impressed with the service we received, especially from our waitress, Annie. She was very friendly and was very attentive to our needs. Thanks for making our gathering special, Annie. The food was very good. Some members elected to order from the menu. Their meals had a good presentation. I was told that the sandwiches and fries were excellent. The rest of the party chose to eat from the buffet. We were very pleased with the choices. All the food had a very good taste and were hot. We all agreed that we will definitely return.
We were told upon checking in that the buffet was only served on weekends but when we arrived for breakfast, there was a breakfast buffet which was very good for the most part. Staff was friendly and helpful but be aware that if you want to order off the menu, it takes a long time (over half hour) to get your food.
If you’ve ever been to the Carroll county hospital then you’ve already ate here. This place was absolutely disgusting ever since they moved to the conference center the food has been undercooked the tables are always dirty and don’t eat the seafood buffet no flavor and all of it’s cold
We used to stop in here on our way to visit our family in the holler. I will never come through Carroll county again after learning your sheriff intentionally hired the man who killed Brianna Taylor in her own home. I had no idea yall live in a sundown town. Peace.

The staff was nice. The food was not good. The food was slim choices and everything we ate was bad. We are not saying this to be rude but hoping to save people money and to get the restaurant to try harder. The previous reviews were correct....it is not at the posted location. Go to the conference center. Expensive. Especially for like 7 options and a salad bar.

Food not as good as it used to be. It has changed a lot since it was moved to the conference center. All the deserts were dry and the cherry cobbler was cold and mushy

Took my sister here for a birthday lunch. The food was mediocre at best. Before the restaurant was moved to the conference center it was great. The desserts were dry and tasted old. The cobbler was ice cold. Cornbread muffins dry and hard. Even the fish tastes different and I used to love their fish. They raised the prices which is fine but lost the quality in their food. This makes twice that the food has been bad, once at breakfast and now lunch and I was told by a couple that they went there for dinner and it was bad. I don't know what has happened to the restaurant.
We had company from Ohio and drove 45 minutes to see this posted on the door
"Closed for Private Party"
Extremely aggravating because I had called
2 times earlier this week!!
They moved the restaurant to the main lodge, but without signage, so going up to the door, a bit of a walk from the parking lot, was disappointing. Additionally, there are 9 steps and no handicap entrance to the restaurant. So we were unable to actually eat there. Very, very disappointing.
