It's still in the convention center. I think that has a lot to do with food quality. Very bland. Bread was hard chicken was dry. Food is for older people who don't want any spices including salt and pepper. Atmosphere was weird kinda like a hotel breakfast bar. Could at least use a little music to stifull the quiet. Server's we're very attentive and friendly.

If you’ve ever been to the Carroll county hospital then you’ve already ate here. This place was absolutely disgusting ever since they moved to the conference center the food has been undercooked the tables are always dirty and don’t eat the seafood buffet no flavor and all of it’s cold

We used to stop in here on our way to visit our family in the holler. I will never come through Carroll county again after learning your sheriff intentionally hired the man who killed Brianna Taylor in her own home. I had no idea yall live in a sundown town. Peace.

Good was under par...lots of fried food, and not prepared well. Salad bar was ok. Would not recommend.

The staff was nice. The food was not good. The food was slim choices and everything we ate was bad. We are not saying this to be rude but hoping to save people money and to get the restaurant to try harder. The previous reviews were correct....it is not at the posted location. Go to the conference center. Expensive. Especially for like 7 options and a salad bar.

Food not as good as it used to be. It has changed a lot since it was moved to the conference center. All the deserts were dry and the cherry cobbler was cold and mushy

We had company from Ohio and drove 45 minutes to see this posted on the door
"Closed for Private Party"
Extremely aggravating because I had called
2 times earlier this week!!

They moved the restaurant to the main lodge, but without signage, so going up to the door, a bit of a walk from the parking lot, was disappointing. Additionally, there are 9 steps and no handicap entrance to the restaurant. So we were unable to actually eat there. Very, very disappointing.

My Aunt calls & makes a reservation 2 days ahead for our family of 15, in fact called twice to be sure. Just for us to arrive and be told they knew nothing about it & you can't make reservations on a Sunday. The front lady wearing glasses was INCREDIBLY RUDE. Didn't try to help us or figure out what they could do for us. So we just left & went to HOMETOWN PIZZA right before the railroad tracks & it was absolutely delicious as always!!! Wait time was 20 mintues if that. I Totally recommend HOMETOWN PIZZA over slightly upgraded hospital food.

Ate the buffet and greens beans have no taste, catfish didn't taste nothing like catfish, chicken dumplings were soso, cornbread muffins dry tasteless, corn was ok, mashed potatoes and white gravy were ok too. Nothing was good enough to return.

It is just a buffet that caters towards senior citizens in that it is mainly fried foods. Service was good. I was charged $8.50 for a salad bar for one salad. It's not worth buying the complimentary breakfast through Butler's Resort. Just not enough options for dietary restrictions. Atmosphere was comparable to a conference catering service, as the restaurant is about a mile from the resort in the conference hall. Not worth the money. I would, however, highly recommend the Mexican restaurant right down the road called Mi Viejo!
