I went to Welch's Riverside Restaurant for dinner. The seafood food was well prepared and was a good value for the money. The hush puppies prepared by Carrie were some of the best ever. Great relaxing atmosphere with an amazing view of the river! The waitress this evening was very attentive. I will return.
Welch's is a great restaurant. They are located on the Ohio River and some of the tables have a full view of the river. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was very good. We had a group of 12 people and some of the baked potatoes were not baked completely but it was still delicious. The shrimp was delicious and served with cocktail sauce and broccoli as well as a side salad. The roast beef was also good and I would eat there again if in the area!
I had the bologna egg and cheese sandwich on a bun with French fries. Hubs had the country ham patter. Both were amazing. It’s country cooking and it was good. Waitress stayed busy too. Cheap to eat there too! Nice views of the river but you have to get there fast before they fill up.
