Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Stopped here on a road trip. The staff was super nice. My waitress didn't bat an eye or huff when I asked if it was ok to order lunch 10 minutes early. She cheerfully went to ask the kitchen and they accommodated me.

The Cave City Cracker Barrel has always welcomed us to a very clean, bright, & friendly restaurant. We got a super cute outfit for our little one in the Country Store. 10/10 recommend!!!

It was delicious but just too cold inside.

Wife's fried chicken was cold, as were the vegetables. The fries were warm. The waitress was nice and helpful. We had to wait 20 minutes or so for food to hey arrive at table.

Great place for breakfast when traveling. This restaurant needed better signage for when you are coming off the highway.

They were closing early for there Christmas party and my friend asked before they seated us if they would have enough time or should we go somewhere else since it was 6:15 already. Host said no it would be fine and seated us. Waitress was very rude. Came to our table and said what do you want? Took our drink orders but didn’t bring them all. Two people in our party didn’t get drinks till after food was brought. When food was brought she just laid it down in one spot and said you all can figure out where it goes. Then one person never got their food and we told another lady that passed that we were still missing a pancake and bacon, she said we are not making that order it will be secured from the bill. Never asked if she wanted something else. When asked for a tea refill she responded that she wasn’t serving any more tea. My son had extra things on his bill but waitress was never seen again after bill was brought. My son took it to cashier and told her about the extra charge and she told my son that the waitress would have to fix it, and she was called but never came to the counter. Son had to pay for extra stuff. Worst experience by far and to top it off ruined our 80th birthday celebration for my mother-in-law.

Haley our waitress was fantastic! I requested some blueberry syrup and ask if i could purchase some out of the store. She not only got it for me but purchased it and told me not to worry about paying for it. It’s incredible to actually have someone care enough about their job to go above and beyond! Give HALEY in Cave city, KY a raise!

It was late Thanksgiving day, and we had no meal we ordered while in Bowling Green and drove to Cave City. The Thanksgiving meal was ready when we got there. They were so busy that I stopped behind the restaurant and put on my hazards. They were to me in minutes and had a hit Thanksgiving meal in a hotel.

I tried a new sandwich at Cracker Barrel. The Chicken BLT was a little bit of a disappointment. When it came out the bacon on the sandwich was burnt. It looked like it was left over bacon from the breakfast. I did take it off and ate the sandwich. The fries were hot and well seasoned. The server did come by after I finished and offered to bring me some bacon since mine were burnt. If I order the sandwich again I will check the bacon before the server leaves the table.
