You can not judge a book by the cover. When you pull in, you would never dream you'd find some of the best food to ever cross your lips. There is no doubt the cook loves to cook. It doesn't matter what you get from the buffet, it's outstanding.

We had the breakfast bar...wish we wouldn't have. We was the only ones eating off of it. I was sick after. The place wasn't the cleanest. It was only 7:30 in the morning, it should have still been cleaned if clean right the night before

We stopped here on our way back home to Tennessee from a trip to Indiana. This place is a hidden gem! The workers were all very kind and polite, and the food was top notch. We will definitely be back.

It was a small buffet, The food was not good at all, people leaving these comments saying that it was good food, me and my wife ate there and it was nasty, we will not go back there.

Do yourself a favor and stop here and eat. It's food the way it used to be with excellent service to match. We had breakfast and, if we lived closer, would eat there often. I highly recommend you take time to enjoy some great food.

I liked the food but they really need to update the facility. It needs some type of appearance regarding cleanliness. I sure hope they do or I can’t go back.
If you want to stop at a hometown diner AVOID THIS PLACE. It is horrible. We wanted to eat at a local restaurant instead of Cracker Barrel or one of the other chains in the area. Boy that was a BIG mistake. We had the buffet and undoubtedly the people coming in don’t know any better. The place was dirty and the service was lousy. We reluctantly ate but would have been better to get up and left. Run would have been more like it. After leaving we laughed and said we would have been better off at Taco Bell.
The food was okay, but the day I was there, they only had the buffet available. They only had one choice of meat, fried catfish, and they also had a spaghetti casserole which I was not sure if it contained meat. The salad bar portion of the buffet was good and well stocked. They also had several vegetables. The best part of the buffet was the banana pudding—it was spectacularly good.
Great service. Friendly staff. Always feel welcome. Easy parking and since I have to walk with a walker it was very easy for me to access.
Contrary to what some of the reviews say, we had an awesome meal. The catfish and all the other fixings were delicious. Waitress paid a lot of attention to us and atmosphere was just OK, but worth the visit because of the food.

I had seen & heard so many good things about the Watermill, so I was excited to stop in with my sister today and…..99% DISAPPOINTMENT!! We both decided to get the buffet which included salad bar, hot buffet (fried catfish, pork shoulder, mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, white northern beans, rolls, and cornbread), banana pudding & peach cobbler for dessert, with a drink for $13. Sounded like a no-brainer, but was terrible.
2 positives - catfish & white beans were good!
Salad bar consisted of old, discolored bagged lettuce mix, several toppings available but nothing fresh.
Pork shoulder was paper thin and “seasoned” with a ton of black pepper, Mashed potatoes were definitely instant with no seasoning and very watery. Green beans tasted like they came from a rusty tin can. Corn was clearly thickened with a sugary cornstarch mix - grossly sweet & gel like.
Peach cobbler looked really good but had a very weird chemical sweet taste. At this point, we were not brave enough to even taste the banana pudding.
Overall, very disappointed for a “Good, home cooking” restaurant. We will NOT ever go back!
