When I have attempted to eat at Laker’s Drive-in before, they have been out of the multiple items I chose. Because of this, my family chose to leave.Today, I tried to call to see if these items were available. We do not want to drive all the way to Stephensburg and waste our time and gas money if the items are not available. A simple 5 second call. Instead of speaking to me, the receiver was placed on the counter. I tried to say hello multiple times. I hung up and tried to call back. Busy signal. Obviously they took the phone off the hook. A few minutes later I call again a few more times. They finally answered. I asked them about the food items. After that, I told them about the previous times I had tried to call. I was chastised and told that they were busy with other customers and other calls. Before hanging up on me, she said “byeee”.If what the employee said is true, then why initially, instead of talking to me did she pick up the phone receiver and place it on the counter?This level of disrespect should not be tolerated. The food is good(when it is actually available) but as a previous customer, this could be a breaking point for me and many others.

Drive on past, this places food has went down hill badly. I gave it another try today, I got a carmel brownie sundae ?. The ice cream taste like low fat iced milk, carmel was runny as water and tasted bitter, and the brownie was the little Debbie with nuts already on them. Needless to say I'll never back their food keeps getting worse. Take it back to homemade like it used to be.
