Stop in here when I can when doing business in the area. Always a great meal…reasonably priced! Today I had the fried chicken liver lunch special. Gooooood! Livers were hot and tasty along with the delicious sides. They were a bit stingy with the creamy Cole slaw, but very generous with the chicken livers…so. I have so I took some to go for later.

We have been there a couple of times and both times the food was amazing. We love the modern renovation and the fresh atmosphere. The tables are all hand made and for sale! Gorgeous wooden tables. Aside from that bit of seredipity, we loved the place. An off menu treat is the sausage in a pancake, suggested for our son by the owner. Very delicious. Sounds strange, but so good. We were hoping they would have the bbq ribs the last time we were there, but it was not a special so we opted for breakfast. The gravy is delicious, the biscuits are soft and buttery. We really love the place. If it had been warmer we would have taken advantage of the outside seating. A very quaint and special place. The photos on Tripadvisor are old, it doesn't look like that anymore. I wish I had some pictures to upload to show how cute it is now.

A friend we hadn't seen in a number of years suggested we try K's. It was not crowded at 1:00 PM but there were people coming and going. It looks like they serve breakfast all day as people ordered pancakes while we were there. My friend had the chicken tenders and my wife had a burger. I also had chicken tenders. They only served two tenders per order but they are much larger than what you would get at any similar place. The food was good and filling. My sides of mashed potatoes with gravy and mac and cheese were great. It came with a roll as well. We sat and chatted for almost two hours. The total for all three was very reasonable. Definitely

Good home cooking in a cozy casual atmosphere. Friendly service and clean surroundings is definitely a plus. Stop in for the fried green tomatoes if nothing else.
