I have eaten here twice and the food is amazing. The pulled pork is very good. The cole slaw is the best I have had at any restaurant. Definitely a return customer!

We ate here last week when we were vacationing on Nolin Lake. We wanted to try something small and local and this was one of the first places that popped up on my search. There were 7 of us, 4 adults and 3 children. We all had full meals, soft drinks, and several desserts for around 90$ and the portions were huge! We were shocked at how inexpensive it was. And we took home plenty of leftovers. Everything was delicious and I loved their huge variety of side dishes. The waitress was personable, kind, and efficient and the owner (a retired army vet) came and greeted us when we sat and checked back during our meal. Great experience! Highly recommend and will definitely be visiting if we find ourselves in the area again!

This place has the best catfish for counties around. Do yourself a favor and bring as many people as you can. Noone will be disappointed. Always hot and fresh. Fried squash is extremely good as well. Only Friday and Saturday for catfish. So plan accordingly. Good ol country folks serving good ol country food. Tell em Doug sent ya. Big Thanksgiving dinner coming Thanksgiving day. You can't get McDonald's food for these prices.

First off I just want to say I almost never exaggerate, with that being said here is my review. I’ve been to this place 3 separate time after hearing that it’s just “ok” and it was one of the biggest lowballs I’ve ever heard, not only is the food delicious it is so filling and the portions are so much bigger than you’d believe judging from the prices off the menu itself. In summary It is surprisingly inexpensive, with great taste, big portions. Not only that the service is so kind and willing to make the experience as positive as possible. Also, to the one that told me the place was “ok” I hope you come to realize the true quality of a place such as this.

From the time we entered the door till the time we walked out we were meet with great service. Food was great. My husband had the catfish platter, I had pizza and we shared some fried squash. Portions were great, pizza ingredients fresh! Our drinks were never empty. Dining Area was clean. All way around 5 stars! We will be back!
Vegetarian options: Cheese pizza, salads and lots of veg sides to choose from.
