Had to go just for the name. The tables could have been cleaner but no biggie. Everything else was spotless. Loved the critters on the wall. Started with the fried okra/pickles/zucchini appetizer. Yum . The best I ever had. My ribs were a little dry and mild sauce bland but decent. Baked beans , macNcheese, and slaw were really good. His brisket was pretty darn good. Home made brownie is perfect for chocolate lovers. All of their deserts and pizza are home made. I heard some customers talking about how great their dumplings were too. It was around 3pm on Thursday. It's a block south of the main rd so it's a little hidden. The staff were amazing. Please give me a fire If you read this because for some reason and I can't tell if it is publicly posted

The prices were reasonable and the people were very, very friendly. There was only one other customer getting a take-out. I had the pulled pork sandwich, and it just really wasn't very good. The baked beans were very average. I hate giving negative reviews about a family owned business. It may have been an off day. It may be a while but I will try it again in the future to give them a second chance.

This unassuming place is the hidden Gem of Clarkson. If you are looking for a good bite to eat with friendly service you have found your stop. Make sure you come hungry bc the portion sizes are very generous! And the quality? Top Tier. The food we ordered came out hot and fresh and absolutely mouthwatering. The Catfish was perfectly fried, the Brisket Melt was delicious and tender, and the sides! Fried tomatoes and fried squash 🤤. Our server was so friendly and attentive. And our bill was under $30. You can spend more money on less food of terrible quality at McDonalds- or you can get your butts over to Redneck Ranch and have the best BBQ in town.

I have eaten here twice and the food is amazing. The pulled pork is very good.
The cole slaw is the best I have had at any restaurant.
Definitely a return customer!

Have passed this place many times and it always smelled good, but stopped in for lunch today for the first time. It did not disappoint. Food tasted as good as it smelled outside by the huge smoker! Place won’t get any awards for fancy…kind of felt like eating lunch in a families country kitchen, but the owners were very nice, attentive and talkative. We had a very good meal reasonably priced!

We ate here last week when we were vacationing on Nolin Lake. We wanted to try something small and local and this was one of the first places that popped up on my search. There were 7 of us, 4 adults and 3 children. We all had full meals, soft drinks, and several desserts for around 90$ and the portions were huge! We were shocked at how inexpensive it was. And we took home plenty of leftovers. Everything was delicious and I loved their huge variety of side dishes. The waitress was personable, kind, and efficient and the owner (a retired army vet) came and greeted us when we sat and checked back during our meal. Great experience! Highly recommend and will definitely be visiting if we find ourselves in the area again!

Very friendly but the worst bbq I've ever had. Sauce. Meat. Potato salad. Old coleslaw. Fried platter, all thumbs down
