worst fish I ever had. so over cooked it was awful. sweet potato fries were also so over cooked they were tasteless. Will not go back

We had a group of 12 for dinner. Although it was very noisy due to a highlands event, everything else was great! Everyone thought the food was good and we had superior service from Ella. She got everything out at one time and was very friendly and courteous.

My kids and I love the food. But the service sucks. No one comes to check you to fill drinks. I feel abandoned by the wait staff once we are seated and have our initial and usually 1 drink.

Haven't been to a Barleycorn's in years. The food was very good and the portions were great. The service was very good and atmosphere was light and pleasant. We'll have to get back sooner.

Most of the takeout order was alright, especially the excellent dockside wings (even cold). However, they replaced the berry salad's mixed greens with iceberg lettuce, effectively ruining it for my wife. The subsequent crying and discarded salad made me feel cheated and soured Barleycorns for me.

I have never had barleycorns and I was severely disappointed. My wings had barely any sauce on them, my husbands Mac and cheese had like no cheese sauce, their kids pizza looked like a frozen microwave pizza lol my kid wouldn’t even eat it. Our waitress was pretty absent, checked in like 2 times and I had to ask another waitress for a box and our check. $55 for subpar food and horrible service. Heck another waitress even refilled my son’s lemonade lol.

Definitely not worth the money or drive to go there.

We haven't been in for a long while the beer is always cold, but the wings are terrible. we love hot wings, but they douse them with cayenne pepper, and they have no flavor.

Barleycorn is the perfect neighborhood bar! They have great live music, outdoor seating, great prices on beer, and reliable service! Ideal for a bar seat and a bengals game or dinner with the fam.

My only recommendation is that they add some new items to the menu from time to time. I highly recommend adding an impossible burger to the menu and more chicken options!

I had dinner here with friends and it was lovely. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor dining. A nice variety of items on the menu and the food was excellent. The service was very good. The place was clean and well maintained.

Ate lunch here and needed healthier options. Our waitress, Annika, was friendly and knowledgeable about how to make that happen! She subbed my burger bun for lettuce and didn't make me feel weird about it (like other places I've eaten at). The side salad was robust and she placed the sesame sticks on the side without me having to ask! Great refills and she checked in on us but didn't bother us either.

It's a great local place to enjoy time with friends. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food is average/above average on most items (shrimp tacos). Some food items are below average (wildcat sandwich). Beer is cold, wish the liquor selection outside of bourbon was better, most are just commercially available popular items instead of hand selected delicious bottles for the people interested. Patio is amazing and a great place to spend time with friends/family. Inside is a little colder/less comfortable, more of a place to escape the elements than a real getaway. Parking is easy which is a bonus.
