The food and drinks were great. It was hard not to order dozens of the $1 raw oysters on Thursday! I had the scallops with pasta special and my plate was devoured!

Collard greens are great even when served cold. Bartender was less than impressive. Dropped check before we were finished with dinner. AND started to eat his own dinner. Was going to have another drink but bartender/server was not willing.

Halibut was ok but get the sea bass which is sooo good

This place is amazing! The food it fantastic and the service was stellar. You need to make reservations or else you might have to wait a couple hours. I got the alligator plate and a bowl of gumbo and both were perfect! I would definitely recommend this place and can't wait to come back.

More of a dive bar with decent food. Pricing on the high side for what it is.

I ate there a couple of weeks ago and enjoyed it very much. I had the sautéed shrimp on pasta with a side of red beans and rice. I loved the shrimp but I have to say that is the best red beans and rice this side oh New Orleans. Go if you get a chance!

All I have to say is wow.
My wife and I ate here for an early valentine's dinner. We had a variety of the food they offer . But I must say the steak was one of the best I've ever had . The crab cakes are phenomenal. Their Knotty fries are amazing as well as their stuffed jalapeños.
The atmosphere is is rustic and unique. The decor is awesome . Service is great as well and the drinks are strong and tasty.
Can't recommend this place enough. Definitely going to go back when its warm and eat on their deck .

I am in the Cincinnati area for business and this restaurant caught my eye. I've not seen very many Cajun restaurants in the Midwest so I thought I should give it a try. I was welcomed with smiles and friendly attitudes. I sat at the bar and was greeted by Courtney. Courtney was fantastic, she gave recommendations and was amazing. The food was really good. I will definitely come back if I am in the area.

I’ve been there many times and anytime I have out of state guests we always take them there! And when guests return, the first thing they ask is “Can we go to that Knotty place on the hill to eat”. Now we call it the Naughty Place on The Hill because every meal is amazing, crab boil and the naughty Bloody Mary is well amazing and Naughty! Staff is amazing as well!

My co-workers highly recommended Knotty Pine so I decided to check it out on a Tuesday for their fish specials.
The scene is quaint and gives a rustic New Orleans feel. My servers were warm and welcoming.
I opted for the fried catfish with rice and gravy and collard greens. The greens were delicious! The catfish was perfectly cooked, flaky and piping hot, however missing the kick of cajun seasoning I yearned for. In all, I found my meal satisfying and of good value.

While there were a couple of services misses, the waitresses made up for it by providing me with a sample of the gator bites. All I can say is, “WHOA!”. They were absolutely DELICIOUS and seriously the highlight of my night. The cajun sauce served with them is the flavor I expect from Cajun food.

That said, ask for the cajun sauce! On your fish, your rice and anything that warrants sauce. lol

Dine local.

This place is overrated. We can’t believe the reviews it gets for these prices. It’s like Jeff Ruby‘s prices at the waffle house, no cloth napkins no cloth tablecloth plastic tablecloth plastic cups surprise they didn’t have plastic forks and knives. The bread was little tiny sliver of a baguette, and the butter was peel and serve in a plastic basket. The atmosphere feels dirty feels like a dungeon with bars on the windows, we won’t be going back anytime soon. The only thing that was nice with the waitress.
