This place is overrated. We can’t believe the reviews it gets for these prices. It’s like Jeff Ruby‘s prices at the waffle house, no cloth napkins no cloth tablecloth plastic tablecloth plastic cups surprise they didn’t have plastic forks and knives. The bread was little tiny sliver of a baguette, and the butter was peel and serve in a plastic basket. The atmosphere feels dirty feels like a dungeon with bars on the windows, we won’t be going back anytime soon. The only thing that was nice with the waitress.

Great service and great food. Free bread and butter is always a plus. The étouffée was delicious, and even the small bowl left me with leftovers for a second meal the next day.

The dinner was excellent. I had the filet and it was grilled to perfection. My wife had the eitoffee and loved it. Service was great and we had a party of 12. Don't miss this hidden gem.

Food and service aren't as great as it was.
Very sad, because was one of my first choices to go out to for dinner.

Coming here is always a treat! From a southern boy who knows his Cajun food a place like this is a rare find this far North. We had the alligator appetizer. Our entrees were etouffee and the Cajun sampler.

Knotty Pine advertised Happy Hour. When we arrived, the staff told us they did not have it anymore. We asked why is it on their website. The bartender was rude and did not try to accommodate us at all. We left and found a better place.

Pro’s: the wait staff was good. It was busy and my drinks were constantly full. The server knew her menu. They were friendly.

Con’s: Folks, this is not true Cajun food. Extremely let down. Terribly high prices, not reflective of the food at all. Sauces and seasonings were way too salty, jambalaya was not even close to one’s found in Louisiana. ‘Maryland’ crab cakes are not Maryland style at all, nor even from Maryland. I was born in Maryland and know what blue crab tastes like. Blackened chicken and pasta very average. Key lime pie, the whipped cream was melting and the crust too thick.

Trust me, if you know better you will agree with me. If you don’t know any better, then you will think it’s good food. Very mediocre.

I wanted to like this place but I won’t be back.
