Mac's Pizza Pub

Without question my favorite pizza pub in the Tri-State area. The beer selection is top tier, the atmosphere is spot on and the pizza is legitimately the best you’ll have near Cincinnati. 110% recommend.

Burger appeared to be hand formed. Persnickety pizza critic wife liked hers. Dankish bar vibe in a shopping center. Dining al fresco would be suboptimal adjacet to the parking lot.

I really enjoy this pub. The environment is enjoyable, the beer is fairly cheap, and the pizza if better than most pizza places. The service has for the most part always been stellar, and that’s why we go back. I recommend this highly especially seeing as there isn’t many bars in Highland Heights.

Don't bother with this location. You'll have a much better experience at the Fairfax one.

Our server was all over the place. More interested in socializing with the whole restaurant and staff than seeing if we wanted to eat. Brought our appetizer and didn't bother to take our food order until 15 minutes later. The table next to us was seated after us and ate and left before we received our main meal.

The pizza was overcooked, the wings were inedible. Full of cartilage and fat. Some of the worst we've ever had.

The garage doors were open and it was ungodly hot with the sun blasting in. Maybe a better option on a day when it wasn't 85 degrees. Music was blasting for no reason. Could not have a conversation at there table without having to yell

Go to Fairfax. Highland Heights and the Blue Ash locations have no idea what they're doing

The pizza here was amazingly delicious. My friend and I both got a specialty pizza and we were both pleased with the crust and unique combinations. The service was good and our server was very nice. I was not a fan of the atmosphere, but it is in a college area, so they are just catering to their clientele. It was so loud I could barely hear my friend talk. This was at 5:30pm on a Saturday and not even close to full. But I'd definitely get their pizza again!

Hear me out. The picture doesn’t do the pizza justice. I ordered the Chicago gyro pizza and when I say it was pizza perfection I mean it. Some of you will understand where I’m coming from on this next bit. Others will have no idea what I’m talking about. BUT I have spent my entire life in search of a pizza that has the same cheese pull action as a classic ninja turtle pizza. I want that goopy, hot, stretchy cheese action and this pizza captured that. 10/10.

Don’t eat at this place if you don’t want to wait 3 hours for your food. I ordered my appetizer and food and they came out together an hour after I ordered it, the server refilled my drink once in the hour I waited, and the one time she came was to bring the food so I asked her for some sauces to which she brought 10 minutes later. Big waste of time for average food

I got a gift card in a Christmas exchange for this place, the window and website say they close at 12 midnight. I’ve now gone after work twice and arrived at 10:30 in the last week in hopes of using my gift card. The first time the door is open, I walk in and am told “it was slow tonight, we’re closed.” I just tried going in again at 10:30, I’m writing this from the parking lot. A Sunday night and a bar is closed for “a private event.”

There are no more than 10 cars in the parking lot and the same amount inside. I’ve never been so tempted to just throw away a gift card.

I ordered a Mushroom Steak Hoagie today at 2:12pm. I also ordered Onion Rings on the side. THE MAN I spoke to said they be ready in 15 minutes. I arrived at 2:29 pm.
When I went in my order was sitting where I could see it under a heat lamp. The place was not crowded.
I live one mile from this store.
When I go home I preceded to try to eat. First of all, I am still trying to figure out what was Mushroom about it. There were no mushrooms on the Hoagie. The man asked me if I wanted Mushroom gravy on the Hoagie, I said yes, please., but there was no Mushroom gravy on the Hoagie either. The onion rings were not freshly made because they were cold and soggy.....So for 12.and something. I GOT RIPPED OFF!
AND I am not at all happy about.
This is my first experience with this place and I can assure you that it will be my last! Avoid this place at all cost. Drive on down the road to Longnecks where you can get what you ask for because this place is a waste!

We eat Mac’s all the time. Never have a problem. My daughter and I always Split the chicken bacon ranch pizza and this time you can tell they added water to stretch it out…. Like if whether have the pizza without the ranch than watered down ranch. It’s disgusting and honestly in disbelief that they would serve this to people.
