we came in today (Thanksgiving)while traveling for work. Alexis was our waitress. she was amazing and friendly. food was delicious.
I have eaten at Cracker Barrel twice in the past week. once in Nashville TN & once in Corbin ky. Both times it was delicious and our server each time was great. Have never been disappointed.
Atmosphere was good as it was still; as it has always been. Please dont change the decor. Parking was adequate, and seemed to offer a bigger parking area than other chain locations. I was disappointed I did a substitute for a different item on my plate and paid an up-charge yet I received less food in portion size. This was really backwards.
Great service, excellent food, and love to shop with all of your unique items. Loved our visit

I ordered breakfast. my eggs weren't cooked correctly, the hashbrown casserole was disgusting and the bacon was not a good quality
Cracker Barrel is our go to restaurant. Today was a bit of a let down. The mashed potatoes was lumpy and not eatable. Our waitress was asked for brown gravey for the potatoes which we never got. The gravey wouldn't have helped potatoes if we had got it. The greens were not eatable either ... full of stems. In these days of being expected to leave a 20 percent tip, I in turn expect service that when you tell them there is a issue and actually listen. I told our waitress there was a issue and she went behind us to clean a table. She never heard or comprehended what I said. She got her 20 percent tip but lost any repeat business. If Cracker Barrel wants to thrive in the future they need to get good employees and "keep" them. Turnover in their cooks, wait staff and managers is causing these issues. They can do better because some of the best meals I have had have been at Cracker Barrel. Today August 27 at 12:15 Corbin Ky was not a good meal!
Everything was perfect for our visit today. Food was hot and properly prepared. Our server was very efficient. We don’t live close to this location, but they could give lessons to the Cracker Barrel near our home. Will be back on our next visit to Corbin.

Absolutely disappointed with how down hill this place has gone. It use to be somewhat alright, but the quality and accuracy has truly gone down hill. Ordered food, literally was out of almost everything. Did carry-out, should have checked the food but didn't (so if you do order carryout, make sure they got it right). Messed up the order, for a second time in two months. The food is dryer out and not worth the price.
Waitress was wonderful!! Food was very good, restaurant was clean and comfy.
My server was so polite and efficient with her service.
We stopped in June 6th, close to 6 p.m. for a quick bite. We were seated promptly.
Our drinks arrived quickly.
Two bowls of soup were ordered, a side salad, and I ordered a grilled chicken salad.
After a lengthy wait, the two bowls of soup arrived barely warm and with no spoons, and the side salad was chopped nicely. However, the bacon crumbles were fatty and tough to chew per my companions.
I was informed by the waiter that the kitchen staff had dropped the salad.
My companions did not want to wait again to have the soup reheated.
They had finished their meals and drinks. Still no grilled chicken salad. I asked the waiter to make the salad to go and would eat it at the hotel.
Finally, the to go bag arrived. I pay our bill, and off we go.
At the hotel, I sat down to eat the salad. No napkins or silverware. The lettuce was cut in huge chunks and slimy at the bottom, the grape tomatoes were disgusting, cucumber slices tasted weird, a few sprinkles of cheese and the chicken was barely cut.
I ended up eating the chicken and throwing the rest of the salad away. I wish I had canceled the order.
I've never encountered such a bad experience before at a Cracker Barrel.
I tried to contact Cracker Barrel to lodge a complaint. However, the site was extremely slow, and when I hit to send, the entire complaint was wiped away.
I do not recommend this place. Breakfast may have been a better choice.
UPDATE
Cracker Barrel has amended the situation and apologized.
