We were passing through from BG KY to pick up a family member from Barborville Ky. First time at David's. I rarely give a restaurant 5 stars but it's one checked all the boxes. Fast efficient check in, great service. Fried chicken and as great, fish great, mashed potatoes excellent, corn great, brown beans excellent, hush puppies excellent, and I thought I was getting banana pudding but it turned out some kind of berry pudding. excellent food reminds me of Grandma's. The staff was great.
First off had to beg for silverware all too busy doing other things! One of the guys working the bar was demonstrating crazy behavior and commenting on things inappropriately. We were there visiting with family waiter kept looking and pushing us to leave. We didn’t have cash so was going to go to get money across the street to leave tip. Waiter chased us out the door to humiliate us I’m supposing. Food was not good. 60.00 for my Mother’s Day dinner. I was very disappointed!...read full review
