David's Steak House & Buffet

We were passing through from BG KY to pick up a family member from Barborville Ky. First time at David's. I rarely give a restaurant 5 stars but it's one checked all the boxes. Fast efficient check in, great service. Fried chicken and as great, fish great, mashed potatoes excellent, corn great, brown beans excellent, hush puppies excellent, and I thought I was getting banana pudding but it turned out some kind of berry pudding. Let me tell you it was the best desert I've ever had. The only negative thing I can say it's so far away from were I live😩 This was the largest buffet I've ever eaten at. I hope one day before I die I get to come back.

Saw the photos nice place. But, I do not think it was a good idea to video the children that are jumping all over the seats.
I saw this before we wanted to go, Unfortunately, it looked like a pre school.

excellent food reminds me of Grandma's. The staff was great.

First off had to beg for silverware all too busy doing other things! One of the guys working the bar was demonstrating crazy behavior and commenting on things inappropriately. We were there visiting with family waiter kept looking and pushing us to leave. We didn’t have cash so was going to go to get money across the street to leave tip. Waiter chased us out the door to humiliate us I’m supposing. Food was not good. 60.00 for my Mother’s Day dinner. I was very disappointed! Just overall a bad experience. Felt uncomfortable the whole time!

as a long haul driver, I see restaurants nationwide and David's is hands down one of my favorites. I make a point to stop here because the entire staff is amazing. they are warm and welcoming to weary drivers. The food is always great, reasonably priced, and well worth every cent. On the very rare, extremely off chance maybe something is "exactly perfect"...they will bend over backwards to make it perfect. I give them 10 ✨️ for outstanding customer service. I absolutely LOVE this place, and I think you will too!

My family and I have been wanting to stop at Dave's for some time. Finally had the chance over Thanksgiving weekend. Great place with very friendly staff and patrons. Reminds me of a similar place back home in Western NC. These places are a dying breed. Glad to find one close to our new home. The steak tips were very tender and prices were very affordable. Clean plate eater club. The buffet is perfect for the kids. Variety for the kids to choose from. Salad bar, dessert bar with soft serve ice cream available. All around excellent experience.

For the price, this is a great place. Food wise, it was ok. Sirloin and meatloaf on the buffet were my favorites.

Just cutting through and decided to give it a try. I’m glad I did, a wonderful treat. Not too many Buffets back home and the ones that are don’t compare to David’s. Food was delicious, clean, and my server Justin, was excellent! I can’t wait to bring my wife next time.

First and last time. Place dated and was hit or miss on the 12 food items I tried. Had to spit out 3 desserts when I love dessert.

I love this place. Other local buffets are very crowded. This place is more relaxed. Prices are great. Food has a home cooked feel. And I love the variety. They have things other restaurants in the area don't. Absolutely recommend!

The food is always great. The bar steak has a fantastic taste. The fried chicken, in my opinion, is better than KFC.
