The food was delicious!
Very cool atmosphere at the Sanders Cafe. Love the history and info put together about the beginnings of KFC. Employees are friendly and happy.
Very Cool! The food was great! It's interesting to visit this place and then the next, his second wife's place. This is also a museum, so it makes it much more touristy. I love how they have shared the timeline and changes. Interesting how he began with gas stations, then food, hotels..
The store and museum were actually kind of adorable. But the Colonial would be madder than … at the terrible service of his home store. Really need to train the employees to go above and beyond if this was what you are representing as the best to the world. Stop by if you want to see some fun pieces of history but don’t ask for help. Definitely don’t order anything the speed of service and staff was an embarrassment to the poor Colonial.
Stopped to admire,
Great food. Great atmosphere and history.
Best KFC food, the original Sanders restaurant, Better food than other KFC chain restaurants. Very consistent and delicious, plus you get to see the museum of the history of KFC.
It's a normal KFC menu but if you're looking for a fun fast food stop on a road trip, it's worth going the few extra miles to walk around a bit and see the displays.
The First KFC in the world, opened in 1937

Unique experience of museum and restaurant combined. Original KFC location, worth stopping by if your on a road trip.
Love KFC
There was a large parking lot, and the inside of the restaurant was a combination of museum and customer seating, so I was able to eat in a nice space☺
Mug as a souvenir ☺
Overrated prices on there products! But very friendly and family oriented!
