it was so cool to visit the original KFC! I had a great experience! First, it’s definitely very popular as you might expect, but the system for food orders and preparation was very efficient and good. The workers definitely know what they’re doing and know how to get through a crowd. Second, the classic chicken was extra delicious. I don’t know if they’re actually any difference… maybe it was just because I was eating it at an iconic location… But it just tasted extra good and fresh. third, the museum is so cool! If you are coming here, definitely plan to have some extra time to look around and read some signs! I did not expect to find the museum as cool as I did, but it was very interesting. There are all kinds of cool historical pieces, documents, old merchandise, and old restaurant technology. Definitely check it out!!

The chicken was so much better here than other KFC restaurants.
It must be that it was Kentucky, Kentucky Fried Chicken. 😀
The restaurant was very entertaining w/ all the memorabilia. It had been remodeled since the last time I was there.

Two times in a row now I have made the trip in and NO dark meat. They just look at you and shrug. Today we arrived less than an hour after they opened. There is no way they sold out in that amount of time and said it would be 30 minutes minimum for any...telling me they did even have any cooking. Incredibly disappointing.
The food was delicious and we loved the the history.

This was not the first KFC location. This was the first long John silver‘s location and I still liked it for three stars.
Standard KFC food served in its original location. The free museum is filled with moments and facts about the history of KFC.

Finally, I made it! I had a road trip and drove through this KFC! The food was very oily, even the salad; I would give it one star. However, the museum and the vibe were worth it! So many things to discover! Museum is 5 stars! Very grateful to visit this place!

Honestly I’m not a KFC person, but this was a very unique experience. Food was good and the restaurant was very clean. Excellent place for a pit stop.

We put in an order for pot pie and a 3pc. Dinner, it was lunch time and not very crowded. Waited, walked around to see the memorabilia for 15 min. Went Back to counter, no service, Nothing....went back to counter again and they said pot pies would come out in 30 sec. Waited another 10 minutes then asked for it to go. 45 min. After we placed order we left.

This is an amazing stop. You should definitely make a trip in on your way through. They have a super cool museum of KFC, and they have replicas of Colonel Sanders kitchen and hotel. Super cool. Good service and food too of course. Stop on by!
