This location is the original Sanders Cafe (aka first ever KFC). Definitely recommend stopping to check out the free museum and learn more about the Colonel if you’re taking a roadtrip. The fried chicken I ordered was hot, fresh and crispy. So were the chicken tenders we tried!

It’s nice to be able to freely learn about the origins of popular American brands. This one’s got midwestern roots!

The “old” restaurant/museum was cool to see. Lots of old memorabilia in the back room. The entire store is VERY clean. The food is average kfc food. Don’t expect better food because it’s location.

All other KFC are completely disgraceful. This original place is the only KFC I can actually eat 6 pieces and not get overwhelmed by dirty oil feel. Amazing how much different all other KFCs are. If all KFCs are like this place, I will not go to any other chicken places but KFC.
