Really like the homestyle cooking and the carhops. We've been stopping by here for years when we travel down I-75 but the increase in prices have gotten out of hand in the last year or so.

I look forward to the Root Beer Stand every year. Since it is only open during spring and summer it makes it more special. The food is delicious if you want a good old fashion hamburger and hotdog this is the place to go. Their chili is wonderful!

I understand being backed up but when someone sits 10 minutes wating on service and is avoided then a vehicle with a guy parks next to me the same waitress we were trying to get attention from about tripped getting to the gentleman who pulled up beside me to take an order.lady i was sitting right beside the guy .you didnt even look our way with 2 people trying to get your attention.you wasnt worth speaking to a manager.we left.

Online it says you all close at 8 but really you close 20 mins before 8 !!! Please let your customers know that so they don’t waste their time driving to your location. Won’t be back!

Nice place when I saw it from the road I thought window trays and girls on skates.
No such luck but the food was on point no doubt about that.
Great place to stop other than the big franchises.
