Smokey Bear's BBQ & Grill

This was my first time visiting, and the food was incredible. The prices were reasonable, and the waitress was incredibly friendly.

Update. Second time coming and it was absolutely amazing the bbq here is just too damn good for it own good had the very same waitress and she was just as sweet and friendly as time before definitely will be back again to try more of the menu.

The food is great. And it comes out looking like the pictures. The jailbreaker is so good. The staff was friendly. We love these little mom and pop type places.

The food is overpriced for what you get, some of our food was cold, there was a hair in the coleslaw, they forgot the barbecue sauce for the brisket, and in the past they have messed up our order. overall not very great service I wont go back.

Interior is a bit on the small side, but Smokey Bears has consistently had great food and service.

If you’re looking for real barbecue in Corbin, KY, Smokey Bears BBQ + Catering is the spot. We tried the pulled pork plates—one with fries and coleslaw, and one with coleslaw and baked beans—and everything was absolutely delicious. The pork was perfectly smoked, tender, and full of flavor. Their homemade sauces are outstanding, each with its own unique kick, and pair perfectly with the meat.

We also ordered the fried pickles with their house-made ranch, and wow—some of the best we’ve had. The breading was crunchy without being greasy, and that ranch could honestly be bottled and sold, it’s that good. The home-brewed sweet tea was refreshing, not overly sweet, and just right with the meal.

One thing that really stood out is their gluten-free menu. It’s rare to find in this area, and it shows they truly care about being inclusive for all customers.

On top of the great food, the service was excellent. Our waitress was attentive, friendly, and checked in with us often. Everyone we interacted with was welcoming, which made the experience even better.

Smokey Bears is husband-and-wife owned, and you can tell they put heart into what they do. They smoke all their meats in-house and make their sauces from scratch—you can taste the difference. We’ll definitely be back!
