I ordered the small lean brisket sandwich and sweet potato, the brisket was cold and 1 of the 3 pcs on sandwich still had a rather good size of fat on it .i would have sent back but waitress never come back for at least 10 minutes and was traveling didn’t have time to wait the sweet potato was delicious .

Food was so good we came back two nights in a row. We’re from out of town and may make a trip back just for Sonny’s. The staff is amazing, we have a very talkative daughter and both of the waitresses we had were phenomenal. Portion sizes are amazing and prices are well worth the amount and quality of the food!

This was by far the best BBQ I have ever eaten. I was so sad after I got home to Columbus Ohio and found out that we don't have a Sonny's here. It's a shame. I would be spending a lot of money here.

The staff was super amazing. My only complaint is they are in a dry county, and beer 🍺 was illegal. I was very disappointed in the local government 😕 in a free country where you can get a beer with your BBQ 🇺🇸 🌎 🇺🇲

Ordered take-out, as we were staying in a nearby hotel and exhausted after a full day of travel. Great service on that end- packed quickly, and reasonable price. When we opened the large plastic bag, the food container, was sitting in a literal ⅛” grease. Packets of bbq sauce were coated in grease, containers holding sides were dripping in the grease, packets of flatware were covered in grease, and the stack of napkins were soaked. You guessed it- in grease. Worse, though, was that the brisket we ordered was fully one-half fat. There is no reason to serve any customer a meal that is inedible- greasy, fatty, and sloppy. We couldn’t even take the container of food back in the plastic bag they packed the meal in, because the grease had gotten everywhere. Very disappointing, and horribly unappetizing. The manager was gracious in recognizing the problem with the meal and refunding our money, and we appreciate that.
We paid a LOT on 3 meat meal and 2 sandwiches. I’ve never been so disappointed. All fat. Sausages tasted boiled. The casings on them tasted like they hadn’t been cooked at all. You have to tear it away from the sausage to try and eat it. Paid extra for brisket and not one piece of it was edible.

Shana provided excellent service and treated us so good! Food was really quick and was amazing. We got the all you can eat sliced pork for 14.99 and definitely got our moneys worth. I will definitely be coming back and recommend everyone to go there!

This has been our number 1 Sonny's for years and we have watched the employees come and go. We have had some great waiters/waitresses. This time our waitress was above and beyond. It has been since before the remodel that we have had this type of service at this location and Addie just put us over the top. She had quite a bit of tables and yet she was conversative with every customer that she had and she made each table feel like they were family. Her service was 10 ++++. Our food had never been served so fast. My boyfriend ordered the St. Louis All You Can Eat Dry Rub Ribs and due to her service he wanted to keep eating. He would no longer finish one order than she had his next order at the table. There are some waitresses at this location that could really learn from Addie. She is 100% a cut above the rest.

We visit this place intermittently since it's 5 hours from home, but we have always had excellent food and caring staff when we stop on on travels down I75. New to us on this trip were the cinnamon sugar donut holes. I love cinnamon and these little nuggets are the perfect way to top off a meal. Give Sonny's in Corbin a shot. It's the break in your trip you need.

Loaded Brisket Tots and baked beans. It was very good! My only complaint is no one seemed to be dedicated to the checkout desk. Everyone kept looking over and walking by, my guess since it was to-go earning no tips. Love the over look inside too.
