There were not very many people in the restaurant however it took us over an hour to get our food. We rarely saw our server. We ordered drinks from the bar and saw them sitting at the bar for over 10 minutes before we went and got them ourselves. Once our food did arrive, the men got their food first and by the time the women got their food the men were finished with theirs. One person ordered the seafood boil and was told that there would be shrimp and mussels in the boil however, there was one shrimp and zero mussels, and the red potato was so undercooked that it was hard and un edible. My food would've had a great taste, except it was so cold. It was like it was microwaved for only 30 seconds. The baked potato was so cold it would not even melt the butter.
Entrees came within 2 minutes of salad, so had to alternate salad and entree so meal wouldn't get cold. Meatloaf dry, burnt edges, tasteless. Mac n cheese essentially rigatoni with cheese sauce. Salad: cold, tomatoes off flavor. Three 2-3 year old children running around shrieking. Won't go back
Ate here for the first time in years tonight. Was super impressed with our waitress Kim and our food and drinks.
Our experience was very nice for a Valentine's Day dinner. The pork chops were great and our waitress was wonderful!
Normally this is our favorite place for date night. Not this time. The service was extremely slow. We sat for 30 minutes before we were greeted and our drink orders taken. The drinks didn't come out together. It took 40 minutes for my wife's drink to arrive. At one point she went and got a glass of water on her own. It took over an hour for our meals to arrive and it was not worth the wait. The presentation was horrible and my steak was half fat. My wife's lobster was over cooked and curled up. We will be back, but this was night was not up to the normal standards of the restaurant. Also if you are going to seat people in the extra room, please do something about the ambiance. It was to bright and loud.
Loved the aesthetic of the restaurant. Cozy and nice without feeling too "fancy." The menu was a great value -- two adults and two teenagers ate a meal of three appetizers, four entrees, with beverages of water, sweet tea, and one cocktail, and our bill was $111. Not bad at all. The food was delicious and the wait for our entrees was the only thing keeping this from being a 5-star review across the board. BUT the food was definitely worth the wait. I am still thinking about how good my porkchop was! We were too full to try a dessert but hopefully we can do that next time. will definitely recommend this spot to other people. I'm glad Corbin has restaurants like this downtown! I came all the way from Louisville KY to spend my birthday "back home" and it was a wonderful experience.
Love it! Would like to go back soon!
Nice cozy place. Food and drinks are both good. Beef tips were excellent.

The Depot has been a personal favorite of mine for years.
They consistently have some of the best food in Corbin and the service is always excellent. 👏
I just WISH they would do something about the lighting. Even with the table lights it’s way too dark.
It won’t stop me from coming, just a hopeful suggestion! 😉

I was visiting Corbin and wanted to take my parents, who live there to a nice restaurant that was not a chain. My dad wanted Applebee's and I should have listened. The atmosphere and service was good but the food was terrible. 2 of us ordered the Cowboy ribeye. One of the worst steaks I have ever had. Another got the Sirlion. This was so over cooked it was sent back and this member of our party only had some of the appetizers. 2 others ordered the catfish. The hush puppies were made of just flour and were very doughy and not cooked well. The first piece of fish was good but the second for both was raw and hardly cooked. 3 of us ordered baked potatoes at 630 pm on a Saturday in a restaurant that was not busy. The waitress returned and said they were out and it would be 40 minutes before they could be ready. All in all I very disappointing experience for a restaurant with a 4.2 rating

Terrible. My food was cold and partially frozen still. Couldn’t get the waitress’ attention to heat the food. Finally did and it was still cold. I’m not picky and can handle anything but a hair in my food. But ice cold potato’s frozen brocolli and cold steak tips I just could do. And after a second attempt nothing different but hot brocolli I was just kinda over it. Very crappy that we couldn’t get a warm meal but was still charged 21 dollars for nothing. No resolution offered just terrible service. I can’t afford to go out often and what should have been a nice evening was not. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re just there for cold sandwhich or salad.

I visited the Depot On Main on a Saturday afternoon around 3:00. I drove to Corbin from my hometown of Richmond, to go to the Pinball Museum across the street from the Depot. I ordered a cheeseburger, along with the beer battered onion rings. The burger was o.k., but I wouldn't say it was anything spectacular. My server seemed friendly and attentive, so no problem there. When I got the onion rings, almost half of them were still cold to the touch. Not just cool to the touch, I'm talking COLD. I didn't send them back, because at least some of them were cooked properly, but I'm not going to eat cold onion rings. They apparently weren't cooked properly, but this was not a good first impression with this place. It would also be nice if this place had some kind of special sauce for the onion rings, except just plain old ketchup. Maybe I came on a bad day at a bad time, but I seriously doubt I'll be back.

Know ahead of time to pick the (numbered) table where you will sit. You'll order at the bar and then sit down. I got a sandwich (no sides) and a glass of wine (+tip) for just under $30.
