I've been here three times now and each time has been wonderful! Hostesses and waiters/waitresses are always very friendly and helpful. They check on you frequently and drinks stay filled. Very clean nice atmosphere. Very comfortable. They can take reservations which is recommended on busy nights/days.
There is plenty of parking around. Parking on the street, free parking behind the building or parking in the large square pay lot across the street. You have to go down an alley to get to the parking area behind the building, just be very cautious as cars come from various directions and sometimes people are walking through there.
Inside there are two bathrooms in the hallway across from the bar, one stall each side. I can't recall if there is a diaper changing station in one of the bathrooms. Sorry. I would call if interested in knowing.
I know the entrance way has a step up to get in so I am not sure if they have a separate wheelchair ramp entrance available. May also be worth a call to verify if needed. When it's warm out they do have outdoor seating in front of their main entrance which is also nice. You can't go wrong either way.
It's not loud inside and it's easy to hold a conversation and hear each other clearly. I think Blinkers would be a very nice place to have a date or catch up with friends and family. I've never been here with a group larger than 5 to speak on larger groups.
Overall the service, food and drinks are great, maybe a little pricey for some, but I feel it's worth it on occasion. I highly recommend trying Blinkers if you're in the area. You wont be disappointed!

Got the New York strip, loaded mashed potatoes, and soup of the day (chili). The mashed potatoes were yummy and I can tell they were homemade! And the chili was pretty good as well! But the steak was underwhelming for being the “best steak around”. It was cooked properly (medium) but still was tough. It seemed to be canned mushrooms they put on the steak which doesn’t scream high quality in a steak joint. I ordered a side of the lobster cream sauce to put on my steak and it was extremely liquidy, no thickness to it at all so kind of just ran off the steak. Also, my waitress brought out add ons on the steak I never ordered and when I brought it to her attention and let her know I’d still eat it and that no remake was necessary, but asked if I was going to be charged for those add ons, she assured me I wouldn’t be but once the bill came, I realized I was charged anyway. She wasn’t necessarily rude but wasn’t friendly either, I’m not sure she smiled once. Honestly for an 87$ bill for 2 people, Texas Roadhouse would have been cheaper and better quality

Excellent food
Service a little slow. My only negative was the booth was either broken or they are very uncomfortable

I really wanted to love this place, especially since every staff member we interacted with—from the host to our waitress to the manager—was incredibly kind and attentive. Our waitress, in particular, provided excellent service.

However, the experience had some significant issues. We were first seated on the patio for our reservation. On a 46-degree night, we assumed this meant there would be heaters, but it was just an open-air table by a busy street. After a long wait, about half-way through our meal, the staff was accommodating and managed to move us inside once a table opened up.

The food, unfortunately, was the bigger disappointment. For a restaurant known for its steaks (12 years running?), my $43 ribeye was surprisingly average. It had decent flavor but was nothing I couldn't make at home, and I've honestly had better at a chain like Longhorn. The mashed potatoes were similarly okay, but thin and unremarkable.

On the plus side, my wife's shrimp diablo pasta was quite good, and our guests enjoyed their salmon, calling it a little above average.

Overall, the service was the highlight, but it couldn't make up for the lackluster food. When spending this amount, I expect a meal that's better than what I can cook myself. With so many other great options available at a similar price point, we probably won't be back.

Our family did a road trip during the pandemic in 2020. We drove from GA up to OH, KY, and made stops along the way. We just happened to stop by Blinkers and sat outside in the cold. We enjoyed the view and the best part was my Ribeye, ages for weeks in what, i couldn't tell you. But.......it was the Best Ribeye EVER!!!!! Tender, flavorful, with the fat rendered through the meat and crispy burnt. My wife and I talked of driving back through to order one on our way back home. If I'm ever in Convington, OH again, I'm definitely stopping to order a few more of these.

We made reservations for our first visit to Blinkers. No wait, and got seated right away.

Waitress was friendly and very attentive.

Medium ribeye steak was cooked perfectly throughout.

First time here and it will most likely be our last. Our waiter appeared that he didn’t want to be there. Never smiled or anything remotely friendly. My sandwich was good and so was my husbands but our daughter’s Mac and cheese was gross. Then I go into the restroom and get toilet paper off the counter because nobody bothered to change it and there was a dead cockroach squished into it. DISAPPOINTED AND DISGUSTED.

Bad attitude on the menu, disappointment on the plate!

Have you ever had a dinner where the service ruins the entire experience? That was our Tuesday night at Blinkers Tavern.

From the moment we walked in, the hostess had an attitude — no smile, just an annoyed “Can I help ya?” followed by an even snappier “Can I help ya!!” with a scowl when we didn’t respond fast enough. I brushed it off, thinking maybe she was just having a rough shift. The four of us were seated at a tiny, uncomfortable booth that barely fit two people. Unfortunately, things only went downhill from there.

Our waitress arrived with the same sour attitude — no smile, no “How are you folks tonight?” Just a heavy, irritated sigh, like we’d ruined her evening by showing up. Taking our order seemed like a chore. When we asked a couple of newbie menu questions, she rolled her eyes, cut us off, and even walked away mid-sentence to another table.

We ordered two steak specials, the sea bass ($65), and the pork chop. The steaks came out charred to a burnt crisp on the outside and nearly raw inside. The sea bass was bone dry and flavorless — yuk. The only redeeming dish was the pork chop.

I left a tip only because I honestly feared a “gratuity meltdown” scene outside on the sidewalk.

In a world already full of unhappy negativity, we go out to eat to escape it — not to have it served with a lousy dinner. Don’t need that. Don’t want that. Won’t be back. Sadly, I can’t recommend Blinkers Tavern to anyone.

There was parking right across the street. Everything was great. The only thing I would change is the small tables in the middle. I didn't like feeling like I was sitting in the walkway of everyone. There are booths / tables on both sides. Overall very good!
