We celebrated my birthday at Carmelo’s, our first time there. The experience was incredible, and our server was exceptional. The food was absolutely amazing & I can’t stop thinking about it! We had the oxtail pasta and the red fish. Fish is my favorite, and I’ve never had better tasting fish. Our server also convinced us to try the cauliflower, which was amazing. I’m already planning our next visit!! Shout out to Mitch and his partner for creating such an amazing restaurant!

Very Disappointed. I contacted the restaurant about holding an event for about 30-40 people about two months later in January. The person I spoke with said it sounded like a good fit, and promised to get back with me. I thanked her and left my name and number. Five days later... nothing. I called back to remind them that I was waiting to hear from them... They apologized for the delay and promised to get back with me. Again... nothing. I stopped by the restaurant a week later and met with the manager. As before, she promised to get back with me... but never did. I called ONE MORE TIME. I was very polite and I told them that if for some reason, they DIDN'T want to host the event, no problem, just let me know, and we'll go somewhere else, but please call me back. As before, they apologized profusely for the delay and they promised to get back with me, BUT, they never did. Unfortunately, we were forced to go somewhere else, and that restaurant was happy to have our business... better still, they got back with me the same day.

The food and service was exceptional. There was 7 of us and our waitress (Tempest) was very knowledgeable of the menu and was a big help in deciding. We tried a few of the sharable's and I highly recommend the Mozzarella. It was a nice serving of mozzarella and some of the best bread I've had in a long time. We all got something different and everyone was happy. We are definitely going back. I do recommend reservations and there is a parking garage just down the street if you can't find parking on the street itself.

Highly highly recommend their polenta and sourdough, and the mushroom marsala is equally incredible.

These people don’t know how to run a restaurant. The bar people can’t make a gin martini to order. The menu seems to be made to get you to order sides you don’t know will cost you extra, and management just grins and says,”I’ll look into it.” No apology and no attempt to fix the issue. This place doesn’t deserve your business.

We had a party of 13 which is not easy but our waitress Jenna handled it like a pro. She was so accommodating, professional, and kind. I don’t think a single one of our orders were messed up. She had our birthday cake cut up and served to us and even provided birthday candles. The food was INCREDIBLE and so was the supporting staff

I recently went to Carmelo’s with my wife and some friends on a Sunday evening after a recommendation from a friend. We had drinks at the bar after arriving early and chatted while waiting for our table. We had old fashioneds and rob roys and they were excellent! Service at the table was excellent as well. Our server was very attentive without being overbearing. We had polenta, bread, mozzarella for appetizers and they were delicious. The bread was a 10! Each of us ordered different entrees which we all shared. The food was on point and all the herbs used were fresh. Of course the tirimisu was lovely as well. I will 100% go back and recommend Carmelo’s to anyone.
