This place is permanently closed. Paper on windows, rumor has it that another restaurant is moving in.

Just tried to give this place a try and the windows are papered over and it's closed on a Saturday night at 7:30

City goat is one of our new local favorites!! We have loved everything we've tried from there... it's seems like you can't go wrong with anything on the menu! Definitely try their soft pretzel with beer cheese while you're there. The restaurant environment could use some sprucing, looks like it was decorated to feel modern but that doesn't make for a warm, inviting atmosphere. However, their food makes up for it!

I'd been meaning to try this place for a while, but when I go out for food, I generally prefer doing so for lunch & leaving dinner to my own devices. But whether due to Covid or their own scheduling needs, City Goat doesn't open until 4 PM. I decided today was the day. Even if I didn't feel weird dinining in a restaurant alone, I'm still skittish about doing so mid-pandemic, when so many still refuse to get vaccinated & new variants continue to flourish, so thank goodness for takeout. Surprisingly, it was easy enough to find metered street parking on Madison Avenue at just after 4 on a Saturday, so I pulled in, hit the meter for my free 15 minutes & placed my order on their web site. Got a text that it had been received & a short while later, another indicating that my order was ready. There were a couple of parties dining in at booths, but I was greeted by someone who emerged from the back & asked if I'd placed an order & then for my name. And there it was! Ready & waiting. Very easy transaction & very efficient staff. Now, onto the food.... First thing's first: it smelled so good! I live only a mile or so from the restaurant, but had to stop myself from digging in while driving. When I got home, I went first for the burger - of my custom design: a single beef patty with provolone cheese, pineapple & barbecue sauce. Paired with fries, it was exceptional. Cooked to perfection & the toppings I'd chosen created a very satifying flavor combination. I next tried some mozzarella sticks. These were a letdown. Thick & substantial, but in the fryer for too long, they felt overcooked. The dipping sauce wasn't bad, though. Finally, the pizza. I had planned to get this & save it for lunch tomorrow, but wanted to try a slice while it was still fresh out of the oven. Topped with pepperoni, I'd say it's solid pub fare, but nothing to rush out for. The burger, though? I'd go back for another, anytime!

Flavors are good but always missing on the execution. Non crispy fries, cheesestake needs pizza sauce or mayo and better mixing in of the cheese.Great service and good prices.

Absolutely delicious! Cute little casual restaurant with yummy food. We got the jalapeño sticks for an appetizer. They were good to try! A lot of cream cheese so make sure you love that. Then we got the boneless wings with boom boom sauce. I wouldn't necessarily call it spicy but it was yummy. I got the ghost Malone burger. It's the perfect spicy burger. So good!!! We will definitely be back.

Food is average. No prices listed for drinks then my Draft beer was $7 for 16oz. Burger says 1/4lb patties but we got a double and they were small and didn't come close to filling us up, tasted like a grilled frozen burger does, same for the grilled chicken in the chicken sandwich. I'm not sure why it's so highly rated on yelp?

The app game is strong here. Jalapeño sticks were more bacon and cream cheese than jalapeño, but I'm not complaining. Fried deviled eggs were also good and also had bacon. (Is this place actually good or do I just love bacon? TBD.) Unfortunately the calzone, which looked delectable in Yelp, was underwhelming, even drenched in garlic butter sauce. The surprise star was the burger; it's messy but worth it. Cocktails were on the artificial side, but the Ocean Water was okay. Curious about their wings; I'll have to get back to you. TLDR: Whatever you do get the burger.

Love City Goat! Their food and atmosphere are great! Had the Chili cheeseburger and Skinny Dip chicken bites. Both were incredible. My wife got a calzone and she spoke highly of it!

The wings give you all the bang for your buck that you could ask for. Maybe a few extra bucks, but they're quickly forgotten in the flavors.

I’ve never dined in, but ordered through one of the apps a couple times. Their food hasn’t disappointed and their burgers are a must try. The double is too big for one meal, my eyes are always bigger than my stomach. The patties are perfectly cooked medium. The bottom bun of my burger was soggy, but wasn’t their fault. The driver had a drop before mine and seemed to take a while. But they are very accommodating and allow you to make a note under special instructions. Next time I’ll ask for the special sauce on the side and that should remedy the soggy bun. I ordered a side salad this time and was pleasantly surprised with the fresh ingredients and even tomatoes were fresh from the garden. Probably the best I’ve had all year and I only buy local tomatoes. I ordered the cinnamon roll for dessert and it was still warm when I opened it. Oddly enough, because the rest of my food had cooled off from the long delivery time. I can’t comment on it too much, because I can’t eat another bite, but I’m looking forward to enjoying it with my coffee in the morning.

I had the calzone, with spinach mushrooms and bell peppers. It was delicious. Our waitstaff was wonderful. Very nice, energetic, knowledgeable, and most of all wonderful customer service.

My group of five really enjoyed our dinner on October 9, 2021. The menu offered something for each of us. Vegan options, wings, burgers, and chicken sandwich are the items we enjoyed. My chicken sandwich head boom boom sauce which was awesome. Also used boom boom sauce on my french fries in my onion rings. Side salad which was full of mixed greens not just your standard old iceberg lettuce. Staff was super friendly. Definitely a spot to visit when next in the area. Highly recommend.
