I have discovered that the Dairy Queen in Latonia/Covington has lower prices than the Dairy Queen Highland Pike in Ft. Wright near Walmart. I believe it is because the one in Latonia is privately owned. I paid about 2 dollars more at Dairy Queen on Highland Pike for a milkshake than I do at my local location on Decoursey Ave across the street from Latonia Liquors and this location has a bench or picnic tables where you can sit and enjoy your ice cream without taking it in your vehicle. Yes, they do have a drive thru also... if you're in a rush or have somewhere else to be. The associates are generally quick to get you in and out of the drive thru. Just be extra cautious when exiting the lot because it's a busy road and there are pedestrians crossing often and waiting in line at the walk up window. The associates are friendly as well!

On Friday eve went for ice cream at 9:30 PM. DQ was already closed before advertised 10 PM closing time. Bummer!

Amazing as always. I been coming to this location since I was a kid (now 54yrs).Prices are in budget.Food was great. Drive thru lady was polite,helpful,& accommodating. I had my furry wanting a soft serve in a cup. Haha I am soooo glad this place has remained here & continues to be in this neighborhood. Use to be before going to the roller rink around the corner a little ways you could stop by here & grab a drink or a quick food item.
Never had a issue with this dairy queen until now. Went to get a chocolate dip cone around 9 pm and the young lady that was at the window was not wearing any gloves. Ask her politely if she could put some gloves to remake the cone. Went to the back and gave me the same cone. Realized it once I pulled off. Didn’t even eat the ice cream because she was trying to be funny and nasty for no reason . Wouldn’t recommend nobody to go this one if you are going to treat paying customers like that.

my first time at Dairy Queen and I got the s’mores blizzard with Reese’s pieces in it. I honestly thought it would be too sugary since it is mainly a ice cream shop but no, the blizzard came out flavorful and sweet but not too sweet that’ll have you overthinking your choice. I spent 15 dollars for 3 things. Cheaper than UDF for sure.

Closed early after I pulled in at 9:30 when it says they are open until 10. The teenagers working closed up the windows minutes after I pulled in.
