We showed up for our reservation, only to find out the place is CLOSED..SHUT DOWN...there was no notification of this from them, despite my reservation. I do NOT think it's going to reopen.
Dinner was wonderful, Leeza our waitress was just great. The problem I had was, I made a reservation, when. I got there they didn’t have the reservation, said they were using a different way or website. Very disappointing. The jazz band was so loud we couldn’t have a conversation without shouting to one another.
We will never come back to this restaurant. This is an advertised Creole restaurant that was out of their crawfish appetizer. The restaurant was also out of the signature dessert, butter pie. These items were unavialable to us and we were the first dinner reservation on a Saturday night. The Cesear salads were not edible. Lettuce was brown and mostly stems. Asparagus was bitter. The "mixed greens" on the menu was one item, kale. We were celebrating a special occasion on this visit. I had been to this restaurant years ago and it was very good. This place has fallen hard needs to greatly improve. There are much better places to eat in the area.
Our first time visiting Covington. This place is amazing. We had Leeza as a server and she was absolute perfection. I ordered the Cajun seafood pasta and it was outstanding. We also had the butter pie and all I can say is wow!
We went to Dee felice for our wedding anniversary. My husband proposed here 34 years ago. The food was great as expected. The live music was exceptional. Service was great, our waitress was very attentive and didn't rush us.If I had a complaint there is only one. The ladies room was out of toilet paper and the garbage can was overflowing. But that did not keep us from enjoying our night.
Slow service the filet/lobster was burnt & badly over seasoned! Waitress apologized told us she told the manager but the manager didn’t come to us to apologize even though he visited other tables and that is very unprofessional we felt we didn’t matter!
We ordered red beans and rice and had to send it back. The beans were so hard they were crunchy. There was no seasoning, they were tasteless. The Jamalaya was not what we expected. The last time we were there we had the jambalaya with brown sauce and it was very good. The jambalaya that we were served last night had strips of chicken that we had to saw thru with a knife. It wasn't very tasty. We also resented the $3.50 credit card fee we had to pay. We had reserved a table for 6 to celebrate Father's day, needless to say we cancelled the reservation. I don't think we will be coming back
Our server Leeza S was outstanding - we really enjoyed our dinner this evening. She brought us back to Dee Felice.
The service was not good, the bar was ridiculously loud, the food was overpriced and prices did not reflect the quality or quantity of food served. Would steer clear.
Upon arrival we were shown a table next to the restrooms. I asked to be seated away from the restrooms. There were many available tables at 5:30 and several were still empty when we left at 6:50. The hostess would NOT seat us elsewhere despite having a reservation. The music began at 6:30 and the room is just too small for 8 musicians. Conversation was no longer possible. We will not be returning.

We really enjoyed the live jazz music, but it is loud. Dinner conversation was limited. The Cajun dishes were excellent
Had Jambalaya. Not my idea of what Jambalaya should be. The sauce was more like a tomato broth. My wife had a salad that was ok. Great ambiance and service.
Delicious food, excellent service! We went for our anniversary dinner. Nice table by the window. They were out of one of this fish options but had so much more to offer. We enjoyed the piano bar (really nice music to have dinner to). For dinner we had two starters that were happy hour half off, a couple of dinks and the bread. I ordered the Fettuccini Alfredo with shrimp and the very berry salad and my husband ordered the Seafood New Orleans with a Caesar salad. Absolutely delicious! They even gave us a dessert for our anniversary. We were not rushed and the food was spaced out so we didn't get everything at once. Will definitely come back!
Jazz band was fun but a little loud; everyone loved their meals; reasonably priced cocktails; great dinner
Took over 2 hours to get dinner and over 1/2 hour to pay for it...which was a total nightmare. We were there for 3 1/2 hours...2 couples asking at beginning for 2 bills...I end up getting a bill for entire table and another bill was given to the other 2 for their dinner as well. I was charged 3 times on my AE...I have to wait to see if any credits come through....used to be our favorite restaurant but new owner is running it in the ground. We have tried 3 times to try and enjoy but this was the last chance. Worst part was nobody really cared to get it right.
