El Jefes Cubanos and Moore

Outstanding food! Got the classic cuban and plantains. The cuban was spot on. Crunchy on the outside, moist and balanced on the inside. The plantains were cooked and seasoned to perfection. Even my 5 year old couldn't get enough.

Delicious food! I had a Classic Cuban and Pork Taco… my friend had the plantains and grilled cheese Cuban. We shared a BBQuban. Everything was so good. We had a 6 year old and two 9 year olds who also enjoyed. Would highly recommend and will definitely return when in the area!

INCREDIBLE food! I’m usually hesitant trying new foods but my husband wanted me to try a cubano. I ate every last bite. high quality food, along with high quality service. It’s also located in one of our favorite bars/hang out place so we were able to bring our dog and get drinks. Will definitely be back to have more!

Best Cubano I’ve had in Cincinnati and the tator tots and corn were to die for. Jefe was so kind and personable and the food was hot, thoughtfully made, and delicious! The churros were maybe the best I’ve ever had. If you’re at Covington Yard, do yourself a favor and order some food here. Thanks for the awesome dinner! :)

I was greatly surprised by El Jefes tacos. I personally think they are amazing. I am Mexican and grew up in Guadalajara Mexico. A taco capital, where, in some neighborhoods, you find tacos in almost every corner. The tacos from el jefes are not the traditional meat in a tortilla with chopped onion and cilantro kind of traco. His are different, but in a great way. I only read the details of what goes into each one of these guys AFTER I tried them and loved them. He came up with a Taco Trio for the Cincinnati Taco Week. That's how I found him. The trio came with one pork, one chicken, and one vegetarian taco. The flavor of his tacos is amazing. As I was eating them, my taste buds were so happy! I live in Los Angeles and come to Cincinnati frequently for business. I already told him I will try his Torta Cubana next. I know that I will pay him another visit soon.

A delightful culinary experience with a unique twist! This restaurant offers a menu of Americanized fast food Cuban cuisine, which was both delicious and satisfying. The atmosphere was enjoyable and added to the overall dining experience.
While the service was average and could use improvement, it didn't take away from the great food and ambiance. If you're looking for a tasty, casual meal with a fusion of Cuban and American flavors, this place is definitely worth a visit!

I just got home from a long weekend in the cincy/ Covington area and we ate here twice! From either side of the bridge its worth the walk. The atmosphere is very calming but active and energetic. The Cubans are the absolute best but do not sleep on the chicken tacos they are straight fire!!!
