One of the main reason we go to Emerson's so often is because the ladies who work there are so sweet and kind and patient with my young daughters! They love to walk down to the bakery for Saturday morning donuts! My favorite are the powdered cake and cinnamon sugar donuts, but my kiddos love the yeast donuts with icing and sprinkles!

I had them make a cake for my husband's birthday. The cake was beautiful and delicious. The service was fantastic and we even got some donuts to have for breakfast. Everyone was friendly and the food was fresh and scrumptious.

The baked goods are decent. They do not make anything at the Latonia location. Everything is shipped in from a different Emerson's. There is an older woman who works at that location who will make you feel like you insulted her by walking in. I have gone in 3x with her at the counter and she has a way of making you feel unwanted in the store and a condescending way of responding to requests. If they just replaced this staff member I would go back in. Otherwise I would go to another bakery.
