Have dined at Europa Bistro twice for brunch and it was great both times. The prices are very reasonable given the quality of ingredients and options on the menu. This is a hidden gem...will be checking out the dinner menu next.

I absolutely love the food! Sure a little pricey but worth saving up for! The Cannolis are better than ANYONE ELSE'S!! :) My sister had a little tea party for the family there and the owner personally set it up. Owner's and Chef's are lovable and gifted!

The food and ambiance were excellent! Really well prepared, courteous and knowledgeable staff. Didn't feel rushed as we had a relaxing, delicious meal.

This place has some of the best food We have had in Kentucky. So glad We went through the effort of searching it out (it is connected to the Embassy Suites Hotel). The decor and sunday afternoon atmosphere was very nice but "regular." We werent expecting too much but We were pleasantly surprised. We ordered the all inclusive dinner for two. That includes a soup, salad, appetizer, entree, and dessert for each diner. I got the creamy spinach soup (the waitress said there was couscous in it, but it seemed more like orzo), and my husband got the sausage and lentil soup. Brussels sprout soup was also an option but they were out of that (bummer!). The soups were both mild in flavor and super light, but very good, not bland at all. Lots of spinach in the soup, yum! The waitress brought out our bread early so I could sop up the last of my soup with it. The bread was a small sliced loaf, very light and airy with a thin crust. The chef hand mixed the tomato Basil butter it came with and that was delicious! Then We were served our appetizers. I got the mango and Gorgonzola crostini and my husband got the pepper shooters. The crostini was delicious, dripping with mango sauce over generous melty bubbly Gorgonzola on thick sliced hard crust toast. The pepper shooters were oil marinated red and orange peppers about the size of a thumb stuffed with mozzarella wrapped in prosciutto. Both appetizers came on a bed of field greens drizzled with balsamic dressing, very tasty! Next time i would like to try their steak braciola and roast boar (yes boar!) Sliders; they were out that day! Our salads were next and they were the restaurant signature salad. Fresh field greens with feta cheese, chopped apple slices and melon chunks tossed in an aromatic chocolate balsamic vinaigrette. I could have done without the feta, but hubby liked it, and while I liked the balsamic dressing that came with the appetizers better, it was a good salad. My entree was delicate handmade lobster ravioli and my husband ordered the Lamb chops which also came with zucchini and mashed potatoes. The lamb chops were cooked to perfection with no trace of grease which usually turns people off when they arent cooked right (looking forward to eating the rest later when we get hungry again!). We shared our entrees together but were only able to eat about half because We were so full! The portions of each dish may be small, but when you order the all inclusive meal (which really is the way to go), you fill up quickly! We really appreciated our waitress waiting between courses so We could relax and truly enjoy ourselves. We ordered our desserts, and I ate mine there. I got the cream puff which wasn't as light and airy as I was used to, but I dunked it in my husband's third cup of coffee and it was very good. The waitress went ahead and drizzled a rum sauce on it which was a nice touch. She really did an excellent job of making us feel special. My husband ordered his mascarpone cheesecake to go, so no verdict on that yet, but im expecting it to be just as good as the rest of the food. We saved a lot of money ordering the all inclusive and it let us have the opportunity to try each phase of their dining. We were the only customers there that afternoon, so We got to receive top notch Service and talk to the main chefs son who prepared our food that day. He is a really nice guy! We will definitely be going back the next time We are in Newport, as it has surpassed our used to be favorite place, Mitchell's. The only thing is if you are looking for something other than mostly Italian or Mediterranean, you may need to try a different place. No kielbasa, bangers and mash, or pierogis here, unfortunately. I didn't see crepes on the menu either, but maybe that is earlier in the day. Definitely a must try if you in the area, but leave yourself time to really enjoy the experience. We spent two great hours there, and it wouldn't have been as nice if We had planned to do something sooner afterwards. Nevertheless, they do have fast Service; We just wanted to take

I am in town for a conference at the Convention Center. We decided to check out restaurants nearby and found this bistro. When we first walked in and asked for a table for 7, we were coldly greeted by a jerk who apparently gets upset when you arrive without a reservation (even though there were maybe 8 people in the whole restaurant). We offered to split up and he got more upset and told us no. At this point we probably should have taken the hint and moved along to find another place for lunch. We ordered salads, sandwiches, burgers. 45 minutes later and only 10 minutes left of our lunch break, we still had no food. There was one waitress handling all the tables and running food to the hotel. The jerk who apparently gets offended by paying customers just walked around with a smug look on his face. We asked for our food boxed up and had to wait another 10 minutes. When the jerk brought it out he started swearing when he dropped ketchup on the floor and then was a smartass about our separate checks taking so long. Worst service ever. The food wasn't worth the wait either. Greasy fries and an over cooked burger on a cold bun. And to top it all off, the tip was added on to the bill for zero service and a cold meal from a styrofoam box.

I can't imagine this restaurant surviving for much longer! The food was superb but the service was horrendous!!! I At first, I thought our waiter was the bus boy because of his demeanor and attitude. He never smiled, never asker how everything was, and seemed put out to be there. It was lunch time on a Saturday and we were the only patrons in there. The owners son came out and sat at a table close by to do paperwork and he never even acknowledged us! WOW! Really? Nicola, the owner is very pleasant and friendly, but his son and staff our going to put him out of business quickly if he doesn't change the atmosphere. I really was appalled by the experience! Regardless of the service, I tipped the server 20%, but went up to him and told him that the food was good but the experience would be so much better if he would just smile...even if he had to fake it! He looked at me like he wanted to ring my neck and all he did was say "Have a good day".

The food was amazing but the waiter was very "abrupt". His demeanor didn't match his words. He said polite things but very obviously didn't mean them. Just seemed like he did not want me to be there at all. (A middle aged Caucasian man). I used to come here all the time and I love the owner but jeeze!! If I see this waiter in there next time I try to come in, I'm walking right back out.

I absolutely love all the paninis on the menu. The gyro is the best one I've ever tried, that sauce is to die for. The wait staff is friendly and prompt. Lunch prices are good, dinner can get pricey. They even have a valet option with the hotel next door, $4 for 2.5 hours. **update- now closed :(

Unbelievably fresh ingredients, a killer sunday brunch (and their lunches are awesome), and my favorite chef in town combine to give you one of the best dining experiences in the area. Love this place so much!

Bread and Salad were pretty good. Scallops and filet made Applebee's seem like fine dining. Never again.

We came here because of its proximity to our hotel. I'm not sure why they would only have one server for Sunday brunch, but we only saw one staff member the entire time we were there. He was rather unfriendly and acted like our requests (water) were a burden. At one point I was walking inside and I held the door for him on his way out, but he realized he was actually supposed to take the food inside and proceeded to swear profusely with me standing next to him. He was clearly very frustrated because the restaurant was pretty full and he had a lot of work to do by himself. The food was not memorable. The coffee was barely warm. The patio was a very nice place to sit.

I know this place has good reviews and maybe I hit it on a bad night but I did not enjoy my experience. The menu had that there were vegan options but my server had to make 3 trips back to the kitchen because he had to find out what was vegan or not and every option had some animal product in it and he seemed confused on how to please us. The decor is bad with 99$ sets of tables from big lots and brightly colored walls that they have hung brightly colored large paintings on that make for a cheap looking dining area. The food was acceptable but expensive for what we got and wait staff was sitting in the reception area having personal conv's. Good luck Europa but I predict a closing within a year. If you don't want the trouble of plant based eaters just don't offer it. No crime in that.

Disaster. Evidently they just moved to this new location, however the waitstaff was ill prepared and apparently inexperienced. We were attending a convention and the bistro was convenient. Unfortunately due to the painfully slow wait time for food, we were late to our after lunch activity. Our drinks were never refilled. Waitstaff were running ragged trying to remain organized but other people's food was brought to us on three different times before we got ours. For them to be successful, a lot needs to change.

The food was amazing and well prepared. I will go again, had a wonderful experience.
