Food is good but restaurant is VERY loud. Didn't like shouting to try and converse with each other.

Took my father for his birthday we all throughly enjoyed the food! We tried the stuffed shells, short rib tortellini, and raviolis.

Absolutely loved this Dining experience, from opening the door and greeting by the hostess to our server Dave. The wagyu pumpkin ravioli appetizer recommended by Dave is a culinary palate dream. The bar serves a Superb espresso martini! The challenging hunt for parking in the area is worth dinning here. I hope to return sooner than later!

Stumbled on this place a few years ago and really enjoyed. At that time they didn't have a very big food menu, but wines and flatbreads were great. Menu has been expanded. We just had a few appetizers, meatballs which were ok, , but way too much garlic. The Fig flatbread was fantastic. Anita our bartender was perfect.

So so good. Two other people with me had chicken Parmesan and they said it was the best they have ever had as well as the Caesar salad. I had the ravioli entrée it was to die for. Our service was excellent.

We ordered the meatballs and the flatbread for appetizers. I thought they were good, but not really great. My chicken parmesan was good, but not deliciously flavorful. My partner said his short rib entree was very good. The opera cream cake was a little dry. The restaurant was crowded at our 8:00 reservation time; there was only a high top available near the bar; there seemed to be several couples who are "regulars" sitting at the bar and enjoying themselves. We enjoy trying new places for dinner and Governor's House was a nice choice for a unique restaurant.

Had the ravioli appetizer 2 waygu & truffle and 2 goat cheese mesclun. Shortrib and Chicken Parm for the entrees. Bread pudding for desert. All washed down with a bottle of Quilt cab. Everything was delicious. Well paced, attentive service. Ample portions. Great for date night or small parties.

Nice meal out with good friends. Food, drinks and service were all great. Liked the location (paid parking across the street).

Had a 7pm reservation but didn't get seated until 7:45pm. No inside tables available which we were to get. It had rained so outside seating wasn't available outside so people apparently were moved inside causing the problem . We eventually were seated outside after the rain stopped by removing the water from seats and table top vs waiting another estimated 30-40 more minutes for an inside tables. Those were the negatives. They apologized for the delays and inconvenience, our server was great, food was good so not a complete loss. It was an anniversary dinner that didn't live up to our expectations unfortunately. Another day maybe!!

Visited for our anniversary! Service was ok but the management in this place must be ran by clowns. Asked for manager I think the guys name was jimmy or James well he was sweating and looked high and didn’t fix our issue. Wouldn’t recommend for a nice relaxed environment.

We went to dinner this evening for my birthday and unfortunately the food was very disappointing. We waited over 90 minutes for our entrees to arrive cold and overcooked. The server was kind enough to ask us if we wanted to reheat our food, but at that point we were too hungry to wait longer. The server profusely apologized for the subpar food and offered free dessert, which looked very unappetizing (see photos). We later found out the head chef had quit shortly before Christmas and no replacement has been found. This unfortunate event has sadly spilled over into the food quality and service.

Our entire dining experience took over 2 hours and the restaurant turned off the music while we waited for checks to be picked up from the table. The manager never once came over to apologize for the food or delays. We would’ve appreciated some interaction from management and offer to comp at least a portion of our food. We’re disappointed with our experience, especially for a celebratory dinner.

4 of us went for New Years Eve dinner. Disappointed in the food and even more disappointed in the service. Food was average at best. Waiter seemed confused and not very personable. He attempted to upcharge the order. Felt like I was dealing with a used car salesman as he attempted to upsell salads and even bread for the table. The building was a bit on the dirty side and full of smoke from the kitchen. Was hoping we would have found our new favorite restaurant but unfortunately we probably won’t return.

The Governor’s House is, in a word, outstanding. We had our annual family dinner here Saturday night and got impeccable service from Jordan and the GM Jimmy. Talk about rolling out the red carpet! And the food is absolutely first-rate. Chicken parm breading is crisp and tasty. The meatballs are tender and full of flavor. And the alfredo sauce — chef’s kiss!! Tasted the pork shank that needed only a fork and not a knife to “cut.” Just an overall wonderful experience.

Salmon was so salty really couldn't eat much if it. Others had short rib nachos, which are usually good but tonight they hardly had any meat on them
