have loved this place for a long time, used to be my sunday spot when they were in covington. i’ve gone to the new location a couple of times and both times the drink has tasted good, but everything else has been disappointing. both times i’ve had to wait 30-40 minutes (once on a weekday and once on a weekend), i did not get food either time, and my drink wasn’t even filled all the way up last time. with the wait being that long and not even giving me the full serving for an almost $8 coffee, i was hugely disappointed. added a picture of my drink that i took as soon as i got back to my car; i got a pandan latte. i would’ve said something in store but they were taking so long on drinks that there were 20+ other people waiting on drinks still and i didn’t want to make them wait longer

Ugh I love this place’s coffee and food but the wait time was so long. To be fair they looked under staffed but it took 30 mins to get my drink 🥲

I want to start off by saying that the drinks here are amazingly crafted. They have great flavors, quality ingredients, I love it. Because of that, I go here frequently, but this last time that I went there, I was severely disappointed by the service. Let me start off by saying I work in the service industry, so I understand what it's like to be behind the counter. However, every time I have gone here, I have not felt welcomed by the staff. This last time I went, the lady at the counter had an extremely hostile disposition towards us upon arrival. That was already enough to bring me and my friends off, as it was apparent in her demeanor. I'm not sure if she was having a bad day, as she has been okay to me before, but I found the service entirely unacceptable. I was thinking, okay, I guess I came here for the drinks and not the service. However, when our drinks came out, they were not the usual delicious drinks I am used to receiving, they were not filled to the top, weak in syrup flavor, and had one puff of their topping. For the cost of the drinks, I do not think that this kind of quality is acceptable. I am extremely disappointed in their service, and discouraged from going again.

I got the s’mores latte. It tasted burnt, was not sweet, and had an unpleasant artificial taste. Not worth it.

Very cute space but $7.50 for a 6 oz coffee is absurd. and unfortunately the quality of their coffee isn’t worth $7.50 either 💔

Beautiful space and people. I love Haven Cafe! I cannot WAIT until food is more inclusive for food allergy buds. Until then, I'll keep ordering the pandan latte with oat milk
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options: You can get the sammy without bread, but it's very small and kinda sad for the price
Dairy free options: Oat milk
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a small step up into the cafe and the door is somewhat heavy and awkward. Ample space inside.
2023: 4 stars. The quality at Haven is still really good, but the prices have gotten a bit out of hand. One of their signature lattes with non-dairy milk is $7. Their english muffin breakfast sandwich with avocado is $12. I will still go from time-to-time, but today this makes them basically the most expensive coffee shop anywhere around OTR / Downtown / NKY.2020: 5 stars.
Very, very small location, probably under 100 sq ft. Great selection of drinks & food, you can never go wrong with Cinny Toast Crunch iced latte. Matcha too if that's your thing. Smoothies, yep. But it will be inevitable that the dreaded awkward situation where the teller spins the screen asking non-verbally for a tip will occur. This location has outdoor seating & very little indoor seating space.

Definitely good coffee and food. But the wait time and price!!!!!!!! I waited 1/2 hour for avocado toast and a coffee- $16. I’m wondering if they can sustain the business with such a long wait time.

This shop is small with minimal options and nearly no indoor seating. A great spot to grab and go or enjoy the outdoor seating. The staff was kind but not overly friendly. The coffee was tasty.

I’ve been to Haven Cafe a few times since they opened. Every time I’ve gone back has been better than the last! Today I got the Pandan latte and chocolate turmeric V/GF donut. I wanted to try something new, and both items were absolutely delicious. The prices are hard to beat in Covington for such a delicious latte and food allergy friendly options. There’s a great variety of unique drinks. The staff was very kind, patient, and helpful with the guests.

Cute shop but too small with no seating. They get pastries from local shops which were just okay. Iced mocha had a strange sweetness that I wasn’t into. Would give it another try if I was already down in Covington but won’t seek it out again. Also a bit pricey but wouldn’t have minded if I liked the taste
