I’ve passed this bar millions of times in downtown Latonia, I finally decided to stop in and check it out and I’m so glad I did. Ivey’s is a true hidden gem of Latonia. Historic and lively, this bar offers a unique atmosphere that not many others offer. From the second you walk in you feel a wind of relief, and sense of being in the comfort of your own house. It’s tiny and cozy, with an extended area with two pool tables and darts. They offer high tops, and bar seating. Keno and the Ky lottery can be played here. All week they have different drink specials such as Margarita Monday half off Tequila Tuesday half off Whisky Wednesday half off, Thirsty Thursday 4-close happy hour, Friday and Saturday karaoke. This place is LIT. The coolest staff and bartenders. Regulars are chill. Even the bartenders do karaoke. When I say this place is one of a kind it is. My fiancé and I were welcomed and shown where everything was and gave us the lowdown as soon as we walked in-super friendly chill atmosphere. Going to miss seeing Brad, Amber and the regulars posting their fun filled nights. Although I'm in Texas now it was always a joy seeing the crowds and videos during karaoke nights. Even when you guys weren't doing karaoke an was there for someone's special day it was always nice seeing the smiles and genuine friendships. Where ever this journey takes you guys keep up the amazing job and don't ever let bitterness take away your shine.
