The San Francisco dog is vegan and so good. You wouldn't think hummus and guac would be good but it is. The tots are even great. Oniony and flavorful. Service is great. The place is a hole in the wall in the middle of houses. Off the beaten path of mainstrasse. Not too far though. Just a couple blocks. I bet it is a popular local spot.

I recently came in for the first time and had a marvelous experience. The bartenders were so welcoming…not to mention handsome. The food was spectacular, I ordered one of every hot dog so I could really get a feel for their selections of dogs. I was Not disappointed! The pb&j dog special was by far my favorite. (they only serve it on the third saturday of the month) If you are looking for a quaint and local spot with great dogs, Larry’s All American Cafe is the place to go! You will not regret stopping in.

The perfect hangout for anytime of the day! The quaint architecture, flower boxes, and patio lures you inside! once you are in...the moody, warm and friendly atmosphere makes you not want to leave! The service, drinks, food, prices and amenities are 100% every time! We enjoyed signing our names on the wall and seeing others we knew. The owner/manager creates an environment that is welcoming and makes you feel right at home! We love this place!

Had the Caliente hot dog here with a side if tots and a beer on tap; a start to what will be a hot summer, and a possible regular relationship with this place. Relaxed atmosphere, with great service and bartenders who knew not only the beer on tap, but the large selection in bottle/can as well, and really great food. I find simple food, on a short list, done really well, is always best. Well done Larry's.Vegetarian options: Veggie hotdog available, and veggie loaded tots.

Larry's is the place that you didn't realize that you needed in your life. This hidden treasure is in Covington - off of the beaten path and that is part if the charm.It has the vibe of a dive bar, but clean, inviting while keeping all of the comforts of dive - pin ball, pool table, 80s decor. Hungry? Grab some crisp tater tots and be sure to check out the specialty dog menu- Dog of the day is a go to.

What an inviting, quaint watering hole serving up local brews, domestic favorites, and a full bar otherwise!! Chris and Drew were beyond accommodating and super dope humans who offered awesome local suggestions and top shelf hospitality.We started the night here and were confused why it was a little slow, came back hours later for a nightcap and the place was booming! Still never had to wait more than a couple minutes for a drink…Only regret is not trying one of their hotdogs! We asked their opinion on Skyline vs Goldstar… they threw the Larry’s chili in the mix for a solid competitor, so give it a try!! Also be sure to try the PB&J shots! PB infused tequila sounded like a no, but it ended up being a huge winner.We’re back home in the Carolinas and look back fondly at Larry’s as one of the highlights of the whole trip.
