Just moved to Covington heard alot about Libby's, so decided to check it out. I will say they have some of the best chicken, was not dry at all like a few other reviews state. I'm a picky eater when it comes to Mac/cheese and mash potatoes. Libby's seems to make both just the way I like 'em, so so good. One of the people that was with me ordered the Charlie Brown, they were not sure if they were gonna like it, well they loved it and will order it again. It is a little pricey but all that we had was um um so good. Oh and our server was AMAZING!(sorry don't remember her name). I would definitely recommend Libby's.? to Libby'sParking: They do have a parking lot for about 15 cars for dine-in but there is plenty of street parking.

I really like this place. The atmosphere was awesome and the service was great! The food was pretty darn good too. I had the Willie burger and it was good but they didn’t ask how I wanted my bother and it was way over done for my liking. It still had a good flavor though . The prices were not too bad either. If we’re ever in the area we’d love to stop in again. I would recommend giving this place a try.

My fiancé and I recently dined at Libby’s for the first time. Overall it was a great experience. The staff was friendly and the food was so delicious. We started with the pimento cheese fritters and WOW were there they good.My fiancé got the smoked bologna BLT and it was massive. She really enjoyed it. I, myself, got the steak and egg sandwich and would recommend it.Like most “fine dining” it’s on the expensive side if you get all that we did, but it’s worth it. We’ll be back!

Made it in on 3/28/24, slow, rude-ish, unhappy service. Where is leadership?

The restaurant is small but the flavors are big! Fried chicken is a star and the salmon is delicious as well. We started with the deviled eggs — nice presentation and yummy! We’ll be back. You should go, too.

To much salt Collard greens, & Green Beans, mash where good, gravy just OK, Black-eyed salad was excellent. Told the girl my tea cup was dirty, oh no it is just the cup, when empty wiped the dirt out on my napkin. Need to learn how to make a proper cup of tea also.

The food was ok, nothing spectacular. Our service was excellent. I thought it was a bit pricey for what we got.

I've heard a lot of hype about this place and was curious to check it out. It is on street parking for patrons so it can be a little difficult to find a spot. I ordered the Cheerwine Bourbon Slush and my first drink did not come with the Bada Bing Cherry listed on the drink description, it was a small detail overlooked and not a big deal but when you are paying for it, it would have been nice for it to have been there. I don't realize it was missing until I had the cherry on my second drink. Our waiter was super attentive and friendly and did a great job our entire meal. My friend ordered the chicken skins for an appetizer and I ordered the pimento fritters. The pimento fritters are absolutely delicious and my favorite thing I tried there. I ordered the fried chicken with Cole slaw and Mac and cheese and the food was just ok. It definitely doesn't live up to the hype I see it get in Facebook groups. The chicken was drier than I expected and not enough flavor to really mark it as exceptional. I really don't understand all the hype about the friend chicken. I asked the waiter if the coke slaw was creamy and sweet and he said yes so I ordered it. It was on the creamier and sweeter side but really lacked flavor and it felt like it was missing something. The Mac and cheese was also just ok. It was dry and packed flavor. The biggest flavor profile I felt the sides had was garlic but they all just seemed lacking considering the place gets so hyped up. The oatmeal cream pies were good but again nothing to write home about for the price they charge for them. I didn't have a horrible experience but I feel like I didn't get what I paid for and that for southern food and friend chicken options there are better places to go to. I wouldnt choose to go here again if I had the choice but would go here if a group of people decided to.

Holy moly I love this place. It’s a bit pricey but well worth it. Portions are nice and easy to share. The shrimp roll is literally what dreams are made of. Hands down the best fried green tomatoes and fried chicken I’ve had in awhile. Topped everything off with a slice of honey pie and I was in heaven. Definitely worth it.

Got the itis after eating here, but it was well worth it. Went with 3 friends on a Friday evening; no wait with a reservation. We ordered just about every appetizer to share. My favorites were the shrimp and grits, the fried green tomatoes, and the fried chicken skins. The deviled eggs, goetta hush puppies, and the oysters didn't wow me. I typically don't order oysters in the Midwest, but I figured I'd see how these were, and I think I'm going to stick to my habit of only ordering them on the coast. The oatmeal cream pie was 10/10, but the chocolate pie was too artificial tasting for me and came with a raspberry sauce that I don't think complimented it very well.Service was great, and the cocktails were delicious. Would definitely return and stick to what I know is good.

Ended up here after hearing a friend talk about how good the breakfast was. Unfortunately we missed breakfast time but decided to give lunch a try. Upon arriving, parking was very difficult as there are only pay lots, very few actual meters and no restaurant parking other than employee. The inside is homey and pleasant though very small and packed in. We sat in the outside dining area (it wasn’t busy) where it was nicely put together however, the ground is not level so you and everything on the table is slanted. I also noticed there were only parties with children out there. The day menu is a bit pricy and didn’t have much I would try. I settled on a turkey club, Mac and a water. The water was tap so I swapped it for a tea. The tea was good, the Mac was okay, the sandwich is huge and enough for two- very greasy.

Our first time at Libby's. The service was excellent, all servers were friendly and helpful. We had Pimento cheese fritters and fried green tomatoes for apps. Both very good. Entrees were fried oysters for both of us. The oysters had too much breading but were tasty. Had the oatmeal pies for dessert and they stole the show. We will be back to try some other dishes.
