“I stopped in when I was visiting from Ann Arbor, Michigan. Cameron, one of the bartenders, knew his stuff, was great for conversation, really helped me sort through the private barrel selections, and helped me have a very interesting and excellent time there! He helped me settle in on a bottle that was truly unique and fantastic. Cameron and Carl were both amazing! Definitely someplace I would stop back every time I’m back in town which is pretty much annually. Thank you, wise guys as the name fits both in terms of the tradition back with the mafia and the wisdom offered by the folks that worked there. Super grateful!

“The Lackman is hands down one of my favorite bars in the city, and a huge part of that is thanks to Cindy. She’s the kind of bartender who instantly makes you feel welcome, always remembers your drink, and somehow keeps everything running smoothly even when the place is packed. The vibe at The Lackman is always on point, cool without trying too hard, with a solid drink selection and some really creative cocktails. But honestly, even if the drinks weren’t as good as they are, I’d still keep coming back just to sit at the bar when Cindy’s working. She really makes the place special.“

“This is hands down my favorite bar in the city, with the best bartenders around! The cocktails are consistently exceptional, but it’s the sense of community that truly sets this place apart. Wiseguys was one of the first places I visited after moving here from out of state, and Harrison was one of the first friendly faces I met. Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and making amazing drinks, he also offered great local tips and made me feel genuinely welcomed both at the bar and in Cincinnati. He really went (and goes) above and beyond! Big shout out to Ellie, Brandon, and Stephen as well – sitting at Wiseguys and enjoying a couple of Sunkissed Sweethearts or espresso martinis with this crew is always a blast!“

“Went on a dinner date and decided to pop in this place for a cocktail, great vibes and awesome back room. Sai was my bartender and made me a great sidecar with a few modifications based on my personal preference without a fuss. Will be back regularly.“

“From someone out of town, based in Chicago, me and my partner had a great night at Tillie's. We went to a couple other gay bars in the area and this was, by far, our favorite. The owner was there and was super friendly. Service was quick and also very nice. The crowd at this bar beat the crowds at the other bars, more inviting and felt welcoming. “This bowling alley has exactly 1 downside and that's that they dont have a standard set of house balls. In the cincy area, Walts has the best lanes, best prices ($11/2h during the week, $14/2h on the weekend), best maintenance, possibly the best pro shop with Hitts, almost always has lanes available if not running a tournament, great staff, etc. 100% my recommendation for anyone looking to bowl in the cincy area.“

“My friends and I come to japps all the time and always have the best time! There is so much character in the space and the bartenders are always delightful and attentive. Special shout out to one of the bartenders Ryan, every time I go there he always remembers my drink preferences and has the best recommendations when I want to try something new! “Our meal was FANTASTIC. Delicious, with gorgeous presentation. We came in dirty snd hungry after cold, rainy geology field trips associated with a conference. The food was beyond our expectations, and the desserts were the best chocolate cake and best crème brûlée. ever. We’re sorry we didn’t eat here every night we were in town!“

“Experience would have been perfect, but service was terrible. We were visiting Cincy and the hotel told us about Härth. We sat toward the front of the bar & nobody came to take our order after being there for about 10 minutes. My husband went to the bar & tried to order. We were told that a server would be around. Another 10 minutes & we didn’t even see a server milling around. We tried to order at the bar again & bartender said he’d bring the drinks. Finally got them after another 10 minutes. Not one time did a server come by in the hour we were there. Tried to order a second round at bar & we were told the same thing. Waited for a server, who never showed, so we closed our tab of 1 drink a piece after being there for over an hour. I had a coffee drink & it was delicious. The music & the vibe were great. I so wish the service would have been better or even a bit friendlier. I will go back when we visit again. I just hope they have more people working or a new bartender.“
