Maki Mono delivers fresh, delicious food every time. This donburi bowl included ahi, white, and spicy tuna and was so flavorful. Their buffalo crab dip is addictive and great for pescatarians who miss buff chick dip! The staff is friendly and I love seeing all the local art on their walls. Maki is by far my favorite place to get sushi and pan-Asian food around!

Shishito peppers š. Musubi sliders š. Egg Drop Soup š², amazing. And the broth for the ramen....DELICIOUS!!! I will be trying more food this week and will update my review. The entire staff was awesome and easy to talk to. They were super friendly and gave a lot of great suggestions. Thw chef was really cool to watch kick butt in the kitchen and make some amazing food! The inside decor was really cool and welcoming along with art work on the walls from a local artist. The back room would be great for larger groups to hangout, drink at the bar, etc. Everything about this restaurant was a great experience!

I was in the mood for some ramen so of course I had to see what chef Erika was working on today. She recommended the pork ramen and let me tell you he wasnāt wrong. The mushrooms were cooked to perfection the pork was tender and juicy but the star for me was the broth. The flavors and spices were some o the best Iāve had in Covington. Thanks maki!

I came here during old ownership and it was always just fine. Under new ownership the past over a year, I have come here frequently and have built a crew that loves it as well. The owner, Casey, and the chef, Erica, are both phenomenal. The food had become authentic and they run authentic specials on top of having a great menu of varying Asian cuisine thatās always incredible. I would highly recommend the new pork ramen, crab rangoon (made with real crab!), and the musubi sliders. Great sake selection as well plus other options if thatās not what youāre into.

Pork ramen was perfect, doubly so in cold weather. Broth was delicious in its depth of flavor, and pork had a slow cooked tenderness and incredible flavor. Best ramen I've had in a very long time. Erika is a great chef and Maki is excellent.

I absolutely adore this place. I came here for the first time earlier this year for a quick bite and questioned why I had never been here before! I have been back at least once a month since. The staff are some of the best - Erika is a fantastic chef and always makes sure her guests are enjoying her tasty meals. The owner Casey is one of the kindest souls and does so much for the community of Covington. I am always so impressed with the food and environment here. I've been a regular since the first time I stepped foot in here and don't plan on stopping!

Maki Mono consistently delivers great service and food every time I go! The rolls are fresh and made very well. The entrees are so filling and pack so much flavor. The owner is very kind and knowledgeable and willing to help you with anything you need! Itās a perfect spot for a night out or if youāre just around Covington and wanna grab a drink and sit at the sushi bar and hangout. I canāt recommend this place enough!

as a rule, Iām not really a sushi or saki kind of guy. However, we thought we would try this restaurant out located in the great area of COVINGTON on Madison by the Hotel and restaurants. The owner Casey came over and explained everything to us on the menu and they have quite a different variety of sushi sake, and other Asian type dishes. She wanted us to enjoy ourselves, and she gave us little samples of some different types of sake, as I really donāt understand it after that, I found what I liked and also went with a recommended meal and we had sushi and it was just a lovely time. The owners and her staff made the difference for us. I would highly recommend this if youād like to maybe go out of your comfort zone or just try some very comforting food in a very relaxed atmosphere also as usual itās very good to support the local small businesses.

Been here a couple times. First time being was at least 1 year ago. The reason why I mentioned because menu was completely different so It mightāve been under different management but the food was horrible for the price.
Timing The second time I ate here was a few days ago. Food took a while to come out which is no big deal to me but I would enjoy it more if my meal didnāt come out before my girlfriendās( about 10 minutes away) also I noticed thereās only one cook so itās okay because we also work in restaurants.
Our server is great. Heās friendly and attentive.
Food I got Pork Ramen. Honestly, the broth tasted like chicken package ramen nothing special. Pork belly was very chewy and hard. One big piece of pork. Definitely need to be cook longer for it to be tender if you going to serve it that big of a piece Green curry ramen was so salty had to send it back.
