Weekday afternoon lunch with my son. It was slow but the service was great. Very attentive and food was excellent. I had a spicy burger with Cajun spices. Fries were hot and delicious. My son had a burger as well and was very happy. We had a great time with the others sitting there. Definitely recommend and we will return. I had not been here in over 10 years. It was nice to see it again!

A classic diner with a literal mom and pop crew. Some of the best burgers in town for less than five bucks. It's the kind of place where you can make a donation to the local kids little league team, get an update on the city council gossip, and a great meal all at the same time. Decent chance they'll remember your name and ask about your family the second time you come in. When I retire, I plan on spending my afternoons sitting at the counter of a place a lot like this.

This very cute little family restaurant is amazing! My son and I ate here for lunch and it was very good. The menu has so much to choose from. I got the double trouble and it was delicious ?. My son got the hamburger and he raved about it. If you have not tried this place yet, then I highly recommend you do. You will not be disappointed!

35 + yrs in business and learned 8.30.21 the business is up for sale. Had my breakfast ordered and took to bed at local hotel. This place is one of very few to still serve good ol fashioned mom pop breakfast. The food is great and atmosphere was nice . I will be sure to get my breakfast next time in covington KY for sure!
This morning, before heading into Cincinnati to attend a Reds game, the three of us went to the Old Town Cafe for breakfast. It has been run by the same couple for over 30 years, so it had that family atmosphere. We had scrambled eggs with sausage, over medium eggs with crispy bacon and I had eggs over easy with ham and home fried potatoes. Everything was delicious and the service was great.

I've lived in Covington for two years, and I don't think there is a restaurant I cherish more than Frank's Old Town Cafe. Everyone is nice and down-to-earth, the food is great diner cuisine, and the prices are fair. The Goetta is always fun to try if you're not from the Cincy area.

A decent breakfast place around Covington within walking distance from the hotel, which was perfect since we were visiting from out of town. One of those neighborhood staples that consists of regulars where everyone knows each other and sits down over breakfast to catch up. The place doesn't advertise itself as anything exquisite, just a breakfast joint meant to get you through the morning.The menu is straight forward and consists of sandwiches, burgers, salads, and breakfast. There's even a "Weight Watchers" category on the menu. The prices are cheap. I think the priciest menu item was $9. I got the fruit bowl ($4.50), which was nice and refreshing. Then I ordered some kind of sandwich / burger called the Frankenburger which consists of like every meat. I'm not sure why, but this had no taste at all. I ate it because I was hungry and needed to survive the upcoming wedding festivities that we were in town for, not because I enjoyed it.I did enjoy our service. The waitress was friendly, worked fast, and was funny.
