I enjoyed working there up until I had a bad day and was talking to my manager Rachelle. She then went and told Leslie, I don’t know what her exact position is called, and then I got upset because I told her that in confidence. They fired me for it. They claim to care but, in reality, they only care about certain people. They are phony. It’s a shame because the message they stand for is a great one. You just can’t find places other than Kroger that do that.
They also get mad when we sell out of pastries and then get mad when we buy too many. They get mad when we buy more ingredients like caramel, which makes us money in the long run as it is one of the most popular ingredients.
So, to sum it up, don’t work there unless you want to be watched from across the street, given unrealistic expectations of how to work and be talked about behind your back.

Very mid. I’ve been in twice, both times they steamed the milk of my latte to death (aka burned the milk). It’s honestly annoying when youre charged more than $6 for a latte.

It's bigger on the inside lol (didn't realize it wasn't just the narrow corner). They also have some bakery items.
I enjoyed an iced Raspberry Dark Chocolate Latte. Line moves fast.
Btw they represent a great cause: "To help individuals with intellectual and developmental differences reach their highest potential educationally, residentially, socially and vocationally."
Love the mission of Point Perk. Stopped in one morning desperately needing a wake up. I don't drink anything fancy, just hot coffee with cream. When I ordered, I had sticker shock that a large hot coffee was nearly $4. Then I was further shocked when I was handed an empty cup and had to fill my own beverage. Near the end of my drink I swallowed an entire mouthful of coffee grinds that nearly made me vomit.
It wasn't the experience I was expecting. Stars given solely in support of its cause. Zero stars for the quality of my experience.
Bengals Blast is incredible! Love!

It was a Redlegs sort of morning. That is a specialty latte here at the Point Perk Coffee shop. It has Mexican, vanilla, hazelnut, and caramel. We got it with oat milk. Despite all the flavors, the sweetness did not overwhelm the delicious espresso. They have seating both inside and out. I love the indoor seating because there is a big sliding garage door that opens up to the outside. Plenty of tables and comfortable seating. Nice place to sit and work for a bit.
Wheelchair accessibility: No stair entrance.

What a great experience! We stopped in on a whim for some coffee. They have specials and a variety of delicious coffee. It's the best coffee I've had in a while. Thank you for the great experience! They also have space to sit and work. It's a non-profit that helps people learn job skills.

Love this place!! There mission is amazing as well. It is part of Point Arc and they help individuals with intellectual disabilities get jobs, life skills, and much more. The coffee is great and the employees are super nice.
Parking: There is metered street parking. The meters give you 15 free minutes. There is also a paid parking lot within a block as well as a paid parking garage across Madison Avenue.
Wheelchair accessibility: Everything is one level and there is a handicapp parking spot right in front on the other side of the street.

The interior is quaint, and when the weather is nice they have large windows that open up. The staff is always friendly. My choice of drink here is the matcha latte. It's always delicious.
