I'm not sure if we came on an off night or just had a wildly different experience than other reviewers. When we walked in the place was completely empty, no guests and no bartender to be seen. Eventually someone came down from upstairs and told us they were filling in. There was a very tiny menu available but no other guidance on what to drink or what is recommended just told you order what we normally would at a bar- I was really hoping a place with interesting vintage bottles would have interesting vintage cocktails to go with but maybe I've missed the point of this place. We started with a cocktail in the downstairs bar and then went upstairs where the vintage tasting occurs. It was interesting to see all the bottles available. When we tried to taste the bartender seemed much more interested in talking to and helping a coworker who was there to drink in off hours but not in letting us try much unless we interrupted his soliloquies or conversations with the coworker. I was hoping to taste 10-12 different things they had but it was just so uncomfortable and I couldn't interrupt the guy to have more than 3. He seemed to care less about why or even that we were there. It seems like the kind of place you would be well served and enjoy if you are an old white man but I guess I didn't fit the bill to be taken seriously. The bartender upstairs was even complaining about how slow January was going to be and I have to laugh bc if their service and lack of menu is always like this then I'm not sure how they're ever not slow. 2/10 would not come back. This place has potential on paper but was seriously lacking substance. We ended up leaving for the bar in the hotel next door that had a much better atmosphere, service and experience overall that I was really not expecting from a hotel bar.

I just stopped in and this place is amazing! Just drank a 68 beam for 10 a half oz and the service is amazing. This is a must visit when in Northern KY/Cincy area!

It's not my scene ! This is not a full service bar and is more of a niche. You really need to be a whiskey/bourbon snob to enjoy. Very limited selection for those who are not!

Vintage bottle shop upstairs, great cocktails and atmosphere downstairs. Revival’s new space in Covington is wonderful, with plenty of room to display all the bottles available to taste or purchase. Speaking of tasting, Revival offers quarter, half, and full ounce options to make sure anyone can try even the most rare of liquors within a reasonable budget.

Incredible tasting experience and awesome cocktails!!
This is my new favorite spot in KY. It’s a hidden gem! Their “Dusty” selection is amazing, but the pours at the bar upstairs sets this place apart from all others. Brad and his team are beyond helpful and just plain fun to hangout with. I expected to stop in for 10-15 mins and ended up staying for over 2 hours and left with a couple of amazing dusty’s. We will be back soon and often!

I am currently living overseas and Revival helped my find some information about some bottles of old bourbon! They were very kind and helpful! I look forward to visiting their store the next time I am in America!!

Unique shopping and tasting experience as availability is based on what customers bring to the shop. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Since they don't work with distributors, they offer $5-$15 tastings of rare and even off-the-grid pours, making a one-of-a-kind experience. Highly recommend for both locals and visitors!
