Fun fun fun food and nice place. I enjoyed the fish n chips $19. The only thing I didn’t like was that the batter was a bit too mushy on the inside so I peeled it off. The codfish was gigantic and the fish was fresh. The fries (sidewinders) were the most unique cut I ever saw. I went to Rich's Proper because my husband wanted to try the Bluegrass "Jambalaya." I went in with no expectations and came out a fan. The jambalaya met my husband's expectations and the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich was perfectly fried. The Old Fashioned was on point. You can also buy bourbon there and they have some things that are tricky to find fairly priced.
Great bourbon selection. Bartenders are very experienced and can make any drink you would want. Service is great. They do get pretty busy on the weekends so show up early as space is limited. My wife and I have been going for years and will continue to come back.
