I wanted to do something fun for my husband so as I’m working I decide to make a short break for it and take him out to eat at. I chose this location as I’m obsessed with the food and purchase it literally DAILEY through DoorDash.
I end up giving them a call, they said they’re open till 12! Woah that’s amazing right? We hit the car and made our way to the restaurant,.. apon walking in we weren’t greeted, we weren’t acknowledge, that wasn’t really a problem for me thoe because I work in food and I don’t always great everyone…. Anyway
So here we are in the restaurant asking for a table for two they told us no, they don’t do that after 10? Uhhhhh so now I’m just upset 😂 I wouldn’t have even done this if I had known this….. anyway so my husband orders and starts waiting, I tell myself “Ok you’ve been working since 2 it’s now 10? Maybe go home and just go into work early, order Togo everyone’s happy right?
So I walk up I ask to order a tiki masala, I end up giving my card however it’s not working, I keep asking him if he can just do a manual entry but he’s ignoring me…. He then looks at me and sais sorry? I literally just turned around and walked out, they start asking for me to come back asking if I had another card? Girl it’s Christmas no one has plans on eating I didn’t bring a bank with me just type the numbers in like…
Anyway, needless to say I’ve wasted a good idk 2 hours of my time and I won’t be getting any sleep for work tomorrow.

Taj Mahal has the best flavor on their chicken tikka masala in the tri-state area. Order the 2nd hottest heat level and you will be so happy. It is just the right amount of heat, but more importantly the DEPTH of the spices is very flavorful and savory. Many places in the area just throw in more chili powder at the higher heat levels. Taj Mahal adds more heat as well as anuthentic Indian spices. 10/10 😁

Everything seems made when you order not reheated. They took the time to make a proper tea masala, the naan was handmade and the food is delicious with the right balance of texture and spice. An absolutely new favorite!

When I ordered food, I asked for two plates, but they didn't give me an extra plate. Then they gave me two sourdough breads and two burnt naans. The restaurant is really bad.

I have been twice now to Taj Mahal, and have been blown away with the service and the quality of the food both times! And they even have a bourbon bottle shop with buffalo trace, blantons, EH Taylor...etc, all at great prices!
