was a fan of tuba when they were real small in Covington and was delighted when I saw they were moving to Dayton Ky in a space I hold dearly in my heart. The pretzels are made with the utmost care and the from scratch ingredients are definitely noticed.

This is a restaurant that is well worth the stop. The food is phenomenal. I had the Schnitzel Sandwich, potato salad and sauerkraut and my fiancé had an order of the Curry wurst. The potato salad was nice and and light and the fries that came with the Currywurst were cooked perfectly. The sauerkraut was unlike another I have had before and again was light with a tart pop of flavor to finish. The wurst was a healthy portion, larger then any other place I've been to before and the curried ketchup is made in house with a well balanced flavor. The Schnitzel Sandwich was the highlight of out meal. The schnitzel is chicken making it easy on the stomach with a fantastic sourdough breading that was not soaked in oil. The red cabbage on the sandwich popped with a slightly sweet profile and adding the dusseldorf mustard and and earthy spice to compliment it. The house made potato buns are dense but remain fluffy and absorb overpowering flavors to make a beautifully balanced sandwich.
Service was also excellent! The staff and ownership were so kind and friendly. They were happy to answer questions about the menu and mad sure we were taken care of. The food came out in a timely manner, was presented nicely and the beer selection was excellent.
This will become a regular stop for me and I suggest it become one of yours as well
Vegetarian options: They do offer a ton of vegetarian options. You would be able to find a meal with general ease.
Legitimately the best jagerschnitzel I've ever had in my life. Second place is very far away. Got it with extra gravy, and that was a good decision. Quit going to hofbrau house and give these guys some business.

Not to be missed if you think you don’t like German inspired food, it’s because you haven’t eaten at Tuba. What a gem. Everything we ordered was delicious. Great atmosphere and friendly, helpful employees.

Stopped in for an early dinner with my wife. She had been wanting to try this place for a while now. The pretzels were really good, I ordered the Goetta and cheese pretzel (pictured) and she had the Hawaiian flatbread. Both were excellent! Very friendly staff and great service. Inside dining is limited but they do have 8 large tables in the outdoor beer garden. If you are in the mood for some homemade German food or pretzels stop in for a quick bite or place a to go order! You won’t be dissatisfied.

My absolute favorite spot on Fairfield, probably all of NKY actually. All the food is excellent, and the Spaetzle is the best I’ve had anywhere in the states. Appreciate the well curated beer selection too. Cozy at the bar in the winter and lovely outside in warmer weather.
My wife and I came in and loved it. The portions were huge, the service was quick, and the staff were very friendly. Definitely worth the money. Will be back.
